Really, what is the difference between illlegal and legal immigrants?
Legals don't hold rallies demanding that we give them seven of our states.
Legals don't start fires on the border to sneak in with their drugs.
Legals have to go through a process to prove they are worth being here.
Legals don't make speeches against us.
Legals don't claim they are going to take over our country.
Legals don't tell us if we don't like what they are doing we can leave, it is their country.
The only legals who do these things are SOME of the Mexican legals who are racist and defending their lawbreaking countrymen who are invading us; because to them race is more important than country.
Can anyone think of more?
Can anyone prove that I am wrong?
Answer:
Legal aliens fill out many documents and forms. They wait for approval. They earn the right to enter and live in our nation.
They abide by our laws, complete more forms, apply for citizenship.
They learn to speak English if they don't already, but many do when they arrive.
They contribute to our society, they do not take from it.
Legal immigrants cannot draw food stamps.
Illegal aliens with anchor babies do.
Your points are accurate.
Simple respect for a countries immigration law is basic.
Correct on all points.
100% right and 100% smart you are!! Up to date on this mater thank you for you insites!!
easy Mexicans and all other nationality

The difference is the rule of LAW, really.
maybe we should think about making American-born citizens take a test to see if they are actually fit to keep their citizenship, because a lot of illegals are helping out this country a lot more than a large population of "Proud Americans"
most legals were at one point illegals and current illegals are on the way to becoming legal. Not much difference.
There are plenty of "legal immigrants" who turn out
to be crooks, too. Let's keep things in perspective.
Illegals are criminals. Legals are not. We need to enforce our laws & deport illegals.
Just about covers it, I think.
Anyone who might want to try to prove you're wrong might draw the race card, but that's long since been made irrelevant.
No habla Espanol aqui...
First, the illegal immigrants in this country are not limited to people of Mexican heritage.
All Americans, except native Americans are children of, or ourselves immigrants. Illegal= punishable action. ie., drunk driving, murder, etc...legal= non punishable action. ie, public demonstrations (with proper authorization), holding hands in public, etc.
I'm your typical WASP (white Anglo-Saxon Protestant) the current majority in this country.we will be the minority soon with or without illegal immigrants. Just enjoy being "on top" while you are.
i am not crazy about categorizing people as legal or illegal, especially when the primary illegality is a misdemeanor. this would make anyone who ever sped and didn't get a ticket, an illegal. but you are essentially right. so continuing with the theme:
legals dont become felons by stealing someone elses identity
legals pay their taxes
legals are civilized enough to get in line
legals have respect
Gnomus 12 the test that I would recommend for you would be to send you over here in Iraq with me so we could serve the country together. Seriously, what kind of test would you give a person that would show he or she has the right to have been born where they were?
Good question and insight. I can't believe some of the idiotic responses people come up with though.
Mike M. Hate to be the one to break it to you but W.A.S.P.s are only the majority in their own little minds. Also, if you were born in the United States of America, you are a Native American. As to being legal, if your parents were both in the country illegally making you an "anchor baby" you would still be illegal in my book and Illegal immigration is a punishable crime. Read a law book.
DLW, get your "facts" straight and open your eyes. When was the last time you spent any time at a welfare office in any of the following states; Ca, Or, Id, Tx, Az, Ut, Nv, Fl. and I'm sure there are more. I have spent time there and see Illegals there all the time with fake social security cards collecting their welfare checks and their food stamps. The thing about being illegal is that you don't have to abide by the law when your already illegal.
Out of the millions of illegal immigrants in the USA today, I think very few of them hold rallies, start fires, smuggle drugs, make speeches "against us" (huh?), or are plotting to take over the country, or the world. I happened to be in Washington, DC during a big immigrant rally at the Capitol regarding the immigration bill. There were a lot of people there, but nowhere near a million. They were just people speaking out because they wanted to be citizens without being exploited, or having to spend money they don't have for that citizenship.
The people you described, a clear minority of the illegal immigrant population, are making crimes other than entering a country illegally and working in a country illegally. And in other cases you listed, they'll exploiting our first amendment rights. We have those first amendment rights, by the way, because our Founding Fathers believed in Enlightenment ideals, which held that these are NATURAL rights. Should a person from any nation not be allowed to speak freely? That's silly and cruel, and leads to some startling moral conclusions, like imperialism.
Instead, lets contrast illegal and legal immigrants in a different light. Let's compare the average illegal immigrant and the average legal immigrant. It's important to keep in mind that illegal immigrants DO pay taxes. They pay all taxes but income tax. They do NOT get social security benefits or access to welfare programs because they are not registered US citizens, so they are giving more to the government than they are receiving on a ratio that does not compare with the average citizen (which an exploitive mind should appreciate, I would think). They work harder for less than legal immigrants (which, again, an exploitive mind would appreciate again).
What else can you think of?
Oh I agree with you, on every point that you made. I have a friend who came here from another country they have spent alot of time and money in order to become legal US residents, they speak English and do everything American that you can think of, and him and his family are upset because they had to go through that whole process to become legal and here these people are breaking the law having their babies here so they wont be forced to leave and they don't half to do a damn thing. It is totally unfair to any who has come here and done the legal process in order to become a US citizen. I think you would really like Ron Paul for a president. PS should we reward them for breaking the law by letting them stay here?
