What do u think about the illegal immigrant issue at the southern border?

Illegal aliens shouldn't be here! They are breaking the law and they are destroying our country. They are a huge drain on our economy, education system, health care system and they steal jobs that Americans want. They are bankrupting California! They steal identities. They DEMAND rights they don't deserve. They are not needed (proof - May 1, 2006 - "day without an immigrant" protest)!
Shall I continue or is that a good start?
We need to nail the employers that are illegally hiring these criminals. That will hopefully reduce the incentive to come. We need a huge WALL to keep our the illegal aliens. We MUST change the laws about anchor babies!!!!!! We must enforce our current laws before any "comprehensive immigration" program is put in place.

I think it is a trip. We are all human beings. Why wouldn't someone from another country be allowed into our country?

I think that it is a win-lose situation for a couple of reasons. There are people coming from a third-world country to first world country, and that is a good thing because I'm all for human rights. The problem is that places like Phoenix (where I live) are already packed enough but if you see the traffic it sometimes takes people more than three hours to get home; it's not all the immigrants fault but it is certianly not helping. What we should really do, is find out how we can make Mexico a better place, so that we don't have to worry about over-population in certain places in the U.S.
It cost u.s taxes billions dollars, in lost jobs, medical support, education and welfare for the illegal.
The bottom line it suck Mexican want their land back ...!!
I thnk that their braking the law and that any illegal alien who is convicted of a crime should be deported to Antartica. Further more if you are not a US citizen you should not be issued drivers licences, or recieve anyother state or federal aid of ANY kind. States that allow Illegal alians recedent status for college is stupid. Its like giving a burgler who just broke into your house a reward for having stollen from you.

If they don't come here LEGALLY, I saw shoot em dead at the border. All this talk about human rights, well human rights only applies to HUMANS!!! Not mexicrap.
The problem has to do with corporate greed and competition. In order to sell low, worker pay must also be low. Who out there is looking for a low-paying job? Is your resume on Monster.com open to the lowest bidder? This leaves tons of jobs for anyone willing to work for below minimum wage. The problem is few Americans want to work for less than minimum wage. Instead, I see bums begging for money because it is easier and more profitable than working in a field or picking apples. Another problem is how much are you willing to pay for an apple? If you hire someone at $13.00 an hour to pick apples, wouldn't the price of apples also have to increase?
The solution is ensuring no one hires illegals (easier said than done). We must realize the side-effect to this is prices will increase for things like fruit, meat, cleaning and landscaping services, etc. which will cause us to seek even higher-paying jobs so we can afford $50 8oz. steaks, leaving even more low paying jobs for someone else to do. In any corporate ladder or totem pole system there has to be a "low man".
