Illegal immigration is a drain on a nation's resources. Because of this he has called for a ban on "mass regularization measures" or the granting of amnesties to illegals. I agree with him on that issue and wish we (US) would do same. I disagree, however, with his proposal to solve the crisis using the EU... that has frightening consequences ~ giving control over to an organization and away from individual governments.
As far as his views on legal immigration... I've yet to see a definitive answer except that he would employ a "cherry picking" process much like my US insurance companies use to screen their policy holders.

It's quite common for immigrants to be anti-illegal immigration. Which I'm only assuming is what you meant.
He's not against immigrants. He's against immigrants who choose to not assimilate and adapt to the French culture. I.e. the Muslims.
