Whats the difference between a USA citizen and an American citizen?
Answer:
Everyone born in the American continents are American citizens. I am both US and American citizen. Besides in Latin America the proper way to say US citizen is Estadounidense
This is precisely why illeagls should NOT be allowed into the country
With no desire to learn OUR history and culture, they come and PROTEST OUR WAY !!
...
Please google "USA" on internet and see what it stands for...
its the same thing
American citizen is everybody borned in the continent!
The United States of America are not America!!
An American citizen is a citizen of the United States (of America, duh) that was born in America. A USA citizen it a citizen of the United States that was not born here but became a citizen.
There is a Naturalized Citizen in which if you are an immigrant you apply for Citizenship you can get it.
Then there is natural born citizenship, in which one is born here and is a natural born citizen.
Alot of debate about this right now, people don't want to acknowledge the rights of the children of Mexican parents who are Natural Born Citizen in which the Declaration of Indpendance protects their rights to Citizenship. All these "white" natural born americans want them deported! Stating they won't amount to anything anyways. What a stereotype! I saw a comment that stated 1our of 3 hispanics cant pass the exit esam for school. Did you know almost all the white people on the show "Are you smarter than a 5th grader?" really are not! So, I have nothing to say about that.
But that is the difference between the two. With the Citizenship in which you apply for, the bad thing about that is that it can be revoked. So one is never a true American Citizen just a legalized "paperwork"Citizen.
They must have great schools in your country!!
What the....??
technically, both U.S. and American citizen is the same thing...
But if you look in United States LLC. You will find these meanings...
US citizen..person born of parents which both are U.S. citizens
American Citizen..A person born outside U.S and at least one of their Parents are U.S. Citizens
i was surprised that they made it into a diffenrence
US CITIZEN WAS ONCE AN IMMIGRANT, AMERICAN CITIZENS WERE BORN HERE
The United States of America is the country that I am a citizen of. Latin America, North America, etc. part of a continent.
No...they could be called North American
We chose the United States of America for our country's name...therefore we are American for short
Mexico chose the United States of Mexico for their name and are Mexican for short...
Canada chose Canada for its name and are called Canadians....
We're not all Americans.we are North Americans...sub-categorized as Americans, Mexicans, and Canadians...
I hope you didn't think you sounded smart asking this question..
Get YOUR facts straight...
An American was a nautral born free person who was born on American soil, grew up working for a living, spoke English, and obeyed all American law.
A U.S. citizen is a ward of the government. Owns nothing and has no freedom.
Try calling A Canadian an American, and you would get a nasty response.
