It.doesn't look to good for us to give in to people who illegally enter our country.
What sort of message are we sending the nuts of the world if we can't control our own borders, and give in to the pressures of another country?

I say that a wall should be built and that all illegal Mexicans should be sent back. Foreigners are taking over our country and it's becoming a problem.
3- repeal the part of the constitution that allows any child born in the US to become a citizen automatically, stay as firm/harsh on current illegals, and *drastically* re-configure the amount of new US citizens we allow per year, and factor in a formula to have that number grow every (one, five, something like that) years in proportion to the US population. That way the allure of crossing the border and pooping out a baby won't be as high, and it would make the legal option much more desirable.
Problem #1: If we build a wall to prevent immigrants from entering, and this would prevent others from leaving, this would be very umpopular. Russia did this with Berlin, remember?
Problem #2: If we allow Mexico join the US, then our border would move down to between Mexico and Central America. We would have the same problem, but at a different location.
The solution is real simple. If we would quit providing jobs for the immigrants, then they would not come over here. They are not coming to America for the scenery. We hire them for everything from house cleaning and gardening to farm labor. No jobs, no more immigrants.
We already have laws about this. Laws that we have not enforced properly. Now after we have millions living here, we want to eradicate the problem. This is stupid. This has always been a problem with us. We want our cake and eat it to.
I personally don't have a problem with immigrants. I do wish we would have forced them to follow the procedures more. This would allow for us to keep track of them. They provide labor for jobs most American will not do unless they are paid more. I'm not ready to begin paying more for groceries or other benefits we have here.
Now that the have them here, we face other issues. Welfare and health care are some of the problems. But, we have this problem with our own citizens. There are more Americans milking welfare then immigrants.
The law says if you are born on our soil, then you are an American citizen. What kind of jerks are we to believe it would be better to separate the families?
We need to monitor our borders. Immigrants need to follow the registration rules. It's that simple.
