Answer:
Unfortunately, you may be correct. The Republican Party may be self-destructing. I am still convinced that the primary reason Republicans lost Congress is because of immigration. The Iraq War may have played a small role, but the presidents refusal to get tough on immigration I think is why many Rep. voters stayed home.
I will tell you this, the Republican big shots in Washington HAD BETTER pay attention to their base which is almost in a rage over this bill. If they do not, they can kiss any thoughts of recapturing Congress and holding the White House good-bye.
uh I switched to Libertarian. a true freedom party!
I used to be a Republican, but being most don't support a comprehensive bill, I am no longer interested in voting for them...I did the same, I registered as an independent..I feel betrayed by the conservative wing of the Republican party.Being a Hispanic, I support family values and am pro life. But these people really don't support families. From now on I will only vote issues, regardless of party.
I don't open links... I think they managed to self destruct a long time ago... PLEASE come up with something better then.. we have to close the borders and move forward but there will be NO mass deportation and everyone knows that.
