Have you heard the Sanders proposal on Immigration?

This guy has the most realistic approach to immigration. His concern is that companies like Wal-Mart, Microsoft etc are in favor of allowing immigration because Americans will not do the jobs. Then they lay off Americans to make room for the immigrants who will do the jobs for lower pay.

He proposes that employers who do this will not be allowed to hire immigrants to replace the Americans they just layed off. What do you think of this? I think you should let your senator know if you agree. It makes a lot of sense.

Answer:
Bernie Sanders rocks
Sanders is an acknowledged Socialist (quote: "I refer to myself as a Democratic Socialist because, in this country, I can't call myself a Socialist and get elected." - this from a guy representing the People's Republic of Vermont!) and, as a result, he is always gonna be a backbencher making little noises of no earthly consequence.

I mean, really, the guy is a total non-entity in the Senate - just like he was in the House. Put him and Bobbie Boxer together and what do you have? A marriage made in heaven!
