Why wont the Republicans admit to Bush's Amnesty Bill like Bush himself?
Answer:
I think the term amnesty slipped out. Another Canadian must have written his speech on the immigration topic. No offense intended toward Canadians. I'm not sure how illegals who can't vote would have any bearing on any particular election. But once they are given amnesty and jump through the series of hoops required to be come citizens that can vote. I suppose it would only make sense that they would vote for the party that overlooked their coming to this country illegally. It just seems like common sense to me.
No one appealed to illegal aliens to win any election, or for any of their "votes" (with the exception perhaps of a few Democrats in California). Illegal aliens can not vote. Here you make a very incorrect assumption that to support illegal aliens is to support Hispanics, or even immigration, in general.
Have mercy on them; they know not what they've done, and I believe they are afraid. As one staunch supporter of our Idiot King, a Texan himself, said to me recently, "Well, we're all real disappointed with that man."
The policies of the Bush administration are among the most stupid in American history, but they top themselves in stupidity when they demand that Syria control its border with Iraq while our own border is a sieve.
