A flea-bag motel in Akron, Ohio.
A friend and I were hitch hiking cross country and we though we could find a place to sleep in a dorm lounge at the University of Akron, but had no luck. So we got a $10 room in a place located over a punk rock club (this was 1980) and fell asleep to the trobs of the head-bangers down below. We had asked for a wake-up call at 6 am, but we didn't notice that there wasn't a phone in the room.
At 6 am came the wake up - BOOOM BOOOM BOOM - WAKE UP! pounding on the door.
I woke up in a orange grove. I got really drunk the night before. My friends told me that I asked them to drop me off at work instead of taking me home.
I woke up in Sherlock Holmes bed with sticky Lemon Curd stuff all over my bum....I immediately awoke Sherlock.....Asking.....What's the meaning of this...?.......He just sucked on his pipe and said.......Lemon-entry, my dear Watson.....
I shudder to think what will happen when you are old enough to go to bars...
