How is life in california?

Answer:
Its fun. Good weather, lots of great food and cultural activities.
In one word expensive.
warm
That's a pretty broad question. California is a huge state, with mountains, desserts, oceans, big cities, little cities and everything in-between. I grew up in LA county and I have lived in Orange County for the past 16 years, so I can really only comment on that region. That said...there is alot of traffic; for me that is the only bad thing about living here. The weather is great, there are a million things to do, and there is some really good food available at all hours of the day and night. I have never considered moving.
its probably really warm there.
I´ve been to the Eureka/Arcata area (Redwood country) and the LA area and they are VERY different from one another. Northern California reminded me of Maine because it is full of forests and has a very mild climate. Southern California is so densely populated that it gives you the feeling that you could never be alone. Every city has a population of at least 100,000 and they´re all stuck to each other. The LA smog wasn´t as bad as I thought it would be, in fact, the skies were clear blue for the whole time I was there. Coming from New England, I was also surprised by the amount of stores that had signs in Spanish, and the FM radio stations in Spanish.
Very expensive and dangerous, too many illegals and gangs.
I have been to LA and didn't like it. It is a expensive city.
California has the best the world can offer. All in one place we have some of the worlds greatest beaches, skiing, great weather, great national and state parks, some of the best roads in the world, some of the best restaurants in the world, some of the worlds most famous landmarks and some of the worlds best entertainment options.

I live within a few hours of Disneyland, the mountains, and Las Vegas plus I live within just minutes of multiple world famous beaches and Hollywood.

The weather is great all over the state. We are one of the highest educated states in the country (on average according to the last census) and one of the healthiest.

Traffic is bad, L.A. has pretty bad air pollution and much of the state has poor water quality so many of us drink bottled water or use water filters. Taxes are through the roof, there aren't enough jobs to go around and no one can afford a house. We have a major homeless population in almost every major city and illegal immigrants can be seen on most street corners trying to make a living illegally. Illegal drug use is a problem in most major cities as well as are public schools.

Overall I'd give the state a C right now. If the financial were better everything would be great here.
Expensive, crowded, and full of illegal aliens.
Life in california could be describe in few words "live and dies among mexican"
