Ignorant racists have been in this country for hundreds of years,unfortunately,I doubt if they're leaving any time soon either.Illegal immigrants are hurting the job market whether you want to believe it or not.

Edit: Illegals are NOT a race. They are a legal classification under the laws of this Country. The only racists I see on here are the illegal supporters. Guess what? My wife is a LEGAL Colombian immigrant...and she is against illegal immigration...it is not racist to want your country's laws enforced...hell Mexico has the toughest immigration laws in the Americas (mostly to keep Central and South Americans from going to the US and taking job their Illegal Immigrants are taking...)...it is the Illegal Immigration groups making it racist...tell me what does Viva La Raza mean? (I speak Spanish)...like I have stated before, and me and my wife are convinced that these groups are for Illegal Mexicans not all Illegal Aliens...I am for stopping all Illegal Immigration from the America, Europe, Asia and Africa...my wife came here legally (I met her in Colombia while I was doing work for the US Government), why can't they...what it is they do not want to spend the almost 5K to do it...people only play the race card when they do not have a valid argument...Illegal is Illegal...I know you can say they are coming here to make a better life for their families...bring a 100 Kilos of Cocaine into the US would make my wife, me, and my soon to be born hijo life several million times better, but it is illegal right?

So off basis it's amazing. Look, no one is against immigration, just "illegal" immigration. Why are we not allowed as a country to defend our laws against foreign invaders.? Immigrants are welcome, but it should be by our laws. We have the right to know who is coming to our country. many of our ancestors who cam from Europe through Ellis Island, did so legally. We have many illegal aliens that are bleeding our economy and costing us billions in social services. To say it's racist to be against illegal aliens is crazy and I as a beaner have said I'm against illegal immigration to people of the same race, it's my right to have an opinion and that's what America is about, many voices, legal voices not illegal voices, they don't count. As an American I believe in protecting our laws.

I don't have a problem with immigration. Pro-illegals seems to like to play that card, though, when they don't have a snowball's chance in hell of proving themselves right. They say, "Oh, wait. I don't have a valid point on this, so, I'm just going to cry racism."
So, dear, what race is it that we "racists" are against? I, personally, couldn't care less WHAT color you are. If you are taking welfare off of MY tax dollars, and I can't get assistance from the government if *I* ever need it (because they are supporting illegals who don't pay into the system, but take out of it), YOU are a problem, race aside. at least these "illegals" will work to better themselves and provide for their family. what about all these skanks who abuse the gov't for money, housing, etc. and won't work, won't improve their neighborhood, have chips on their shoulder, have way too many kids and get more gov't handouts because they get free money. Not too many success stories from these people. I would rather help out an "illegal" than send more of my tax dollars to scammers. Isn't it funny how some are so poor but drive SUV's, Cadillacs, wear Nike and Adidas and the like. Why can't we make these people work to pay back all the money they have taken? That's right and if they understood how miserable our lives were in Mexico they would understand why we come to the US undocumented. Mexico has an oppressive regime and if the US really cared for us they would invade Mexico and implement a regime change so that Mexico could be a decent place to live. here we go again, illegal immigrants do hurt more than just racist people, obviously you live in a cave or somewhere in this country that is not yet touched by this immigration problem, i live near our nations capitol where there are so many illegal immigrants that its not funny. Finding a job around here that pays enough to live off of is un-real, and that is mainly because these illegal immigrants that take the jobs dont pay taxes and there are three to six families sharing one 3 bedroom apartment so it cost them next to nothing to live here. At one time i worked with someone who came to this country illegally he obtained a work visa and sent all of the money he didnt need to live on back home to mexico. When I asked him if he liked it here and wanted to become a citizen he told me no he just wanted to work her get his family here and once they were here he would save his money and return to mexico to retirewhen he was about 35. Now lets analyze this, he doesnt want to be a citizen he just wants to make american money then go back to mexico with what he has saved to life nicely for the rest of his life.now i am not racist but becuase of certain thing i am prejudice, and this instance is one of the things that made me that way. Like I have said beforeif you want to be HERE...BE HERE, dont make our money and take jobs from the people who are here correctly and then go back.
People move to US now for the very same reasons that they did 3 hundred years ago (they can not make it in their own country, for whatever the reason). I can guarantee that even legal immigrants that have been living here for 10 -15 years would probably consider returning to their country if the situation there changes.
Many people who were born here and hate immigrants forget that their families are immigrants as well, they just happened to come here earlier, in fact America IS THE COUNTRY OF IMMIGRANTS, unfortuently a lot of people forget it. Illegal alients stay illegal not because they are bad people, but because they do not want to be send back and believe it or not, for some the living conditions are not much better then in their home country.

If a person commits a crime then they are a criminal. If a person comes to this country illegally then they are criminals. Maybe the way they live here is clean but they have still committed a CRIME and should be deported immediately. Whoever hires a personn who is an illegal immigrant should be fined big time!
My descendants came over legally from EUROPE>. As did the descendants of millions of others in this country. Why does our government want the people who have come ILLEGALLY be treated with special favors.
I would welcome a limited number of immigrants who come LEGALLY initially and who are not GIVEN legal status because they were lucky not to get caught crossing the border.
We have too many other issues in this country like a WAR in IRAQ starving American citizen children, elderly, health care etc.! Illegals should be returned and then follow procedure to come to this country LEGALLY.

ILLEGALS are criminals... They broke the law coming here. I would like to get rid of the racist people too, but lets take on one problem at a time.
What planet do you live on? All that is occurring is a transfer of burden from a third world country who can't invest in their own citizens who encourage immigration to the US. Also, 84 hospitals in CA have closed because of the increased costs of illegals who go to the ER to get primary care. Now US citizens in these communities have less health care choices.
Its not a matter of racism. This is a standard argument by liberals when subject debate occurs. The evidence is too strong against wide spread support for illegal immigration. Legal immigration is fine. It needs improved controls and enforcement to help it along but we need to control the US boarders.
Obviously you're not from Texas, New Mexico, Arizona or California. Illegals are given free medical, free food stamps, jobs, unemployment benefits. Ex-offenders when they are discharged from prison are given 90 days to get jobs or they are locked up again. We give more benefits to illegals than we do to our own sons, daughters and family members.
I am a Mexican American who does NOT believe that people should be here illegally! So go ahead and call me a rasist all you want...because it won't make any sense! You say they're not hurting anyone? How about my husband's family's landscaping business that after 30 years of working in this city, they're losing customers to illegal aliens who will do the same job for dirt cheap...? What about all the drugs that get smuggled accross the border through some of those illegals that aren't hurting anyone? What about all the crimes that are happening in border towns that are being committed by illegals?
My grandparents came here LEGALLY and worked their butts off to make a better life for their families. They came here, learned English, and they were DIRT POOR when they did it! Why should it be different for anyone else? The problem is...people want something for nothing.
The other problem is all you people that seem to think that just because others want the law to be obeyed, you automatically point and call "rasist". You're judgemental and ignorant and have no clue at what the REAL issues are. Come down to my town for a couple days and see up front what these "poor immigrants" are doing to our country!
I totally agree with you. My husband is Hispanic. He crossed the border legal but over stayed his Visa. We are in the process of getting his residency...So many people speak so many bad things. But they dont take the time and get to know some of these people. If they did they would change their minds. I'm sure of it.

DUH! If you break the law to come here you have done something wrong. When work is done "under the table" It is illegal. When benefits available to tax payers and citizens are given to someone who is neither it is immoral. We are not racist. I would love to see the people in Mexico fight their corrupt government. I don't want an invasion. I am tired of our classes in my hometown being filled with children whose parents do not speak English on a functional level. I am tired of watching babies pop out like an assembly line so that benefits are earned. If you are here illegally, you are nurting many people. This in not hatred. Mexico's immigration policy is much stricter than ours. Mexico requires people to speak their language and assimilate.
