Switch entry clearance marriage/cp to FLR(M)??

Hi everyone, Im brazilian and my partner is British, we registered the Civil Partnership last week and my next step is apply for FLR(M), i would like to know if it is a straightforward application or not? I heard that is not that difficult, any advice or anyone who applied for this visa before?? Thanks

Answer:
It is straightforward. Gather all the documents and pay the relevant fee, which I believe is £395.00 for postal applications, If successful you'd be given 2 years "probationary" period after which you could apply for permanent settlement provided your relationship still subsists and you still intend to live together. Word of advice: start accumulating correspondences (bank statements, utility bills, letters etc.) in joint names because you will need to submit these in 2 years time when you apply for ILR.
