Why are there no Illegal immigrants answering the legitimate questions on this site?
I have yet to see an intelligent response that would change my mind and make me want to welcome illegal immigrants into my country.
One other issue. I am American Indian but, I will tell you that this is not what makes me a native American. My ancestors also came from another country before Columbus or the Vikings. What makes me a Native American is the fact that I was born in The United States of America. If you were born here, you too are a Native American. If you were bon somewhere else, you are an Immigrant. If you did not follow proper procedure to come here, You are Illegal. It really is that simple.
So, the question is; can anyone show me where there is any benefit to giving amnesty to illegal immigrants?

There is no benefit to giving amnesty to an illegal immigrant unless you are one or you employ one. Corporations that hire them need to be held accountable and fined!! This would reduce the benefit to the employers and when employers stop hiring illegals, there will be no benefit to the illegal.
They are trying to take the emphasis off of illegal and legal so that it then can become a race issue. This seems to give their argument validity since no one likes racists. I actually had someone email me that we are denying their God given rights by deporting them. Apparently the churches agree, as many in major cities are setting up to give sanctuary to illegals so they will not be deported. They also tried to compare the civil rights movement of the 60's to illegal immigration. This is the mentality you are up against. The Senate might pass this thing, but the House is not a sure bet. People need to keep the pressure on their Representatives in Congress.
No Illegal immigrants should have any more rights than a visitor to this country. I was a legal immigrant when I entered the U.S. and I had to go through a lot of stuff and pay a lot of money so I can become an American Citizen. Why should Mexicans who enter illegally get the rights that every American Has, this is NOT their country. They should be all deported. In other countries if you enter illegally you can be shot. i think if the U.S. took this approach then border jumpers would drop drastically. Also all these mexicans are putting a strain on the American economy, all the money they earn rather than go back into circulation goes to Mexico.
I also think America should do something to make the Mexican government take more control, they do nothing to discourage it this and should be held responsible.
First, most who belong to the pro-side are emotional. They favor that side because they want to be sensitive to others, and even when they have a ready answer for the questions here, their emotion gets the best of tehm and they blurt out the first thing that comes to their mond. Unfortunately it's usually Racist or some other hate message that does nto necessarily makes sense.
Second, most of the illegal immigrants lack education and so they are less capable to match wits with us. Of the real illegal immigrants, the only ones who know how to plea their case are three high school kids I saw here. If you notice the protest, those who are fighting for rights of the illegal immigrants aren't rocket scientist. The mind boggling idiocy of having a protest pleading to be legal in our country , by insulting and attacking our country is beyond comprehension.
Third, the main arguement for them is compassion, which is not a logical one. At best their economic arguement is controversial. Extra workers also increase our economy. Our unemployment level is also too low, and it stunts are company from expanding. These arguements are more of the interest of our government and the rich. These arguements can be countered easily with figures that show are pay has gone down because there are too many workers in the US and the extra workers are low income, which uses up more tax money than they generate. THe middle class has always carried the poor in paying for government services. Other arguemetns of economic nature can also be easily counterd by stating we should allow more legal immigrants to come in to do the work and just deport the illegals.
How do you know that there are no illegal immigrants on this site? And for the question inside the question,they should be given amnesty only to wait while they are going through the process of legal residence and if not accepted then deported.
I wish I had the link to that interview between a reporter and an illegal alien protesting the current Amnesty bill when it was defeated a couple weeks back. It was in Huston Texas. It would be funny if it wasn't so sad. I too am for legal immigration no matter race religion or whatever. What I can't figure out is why Bush Trent Lott and others who I backed are so in favor of this Amnesty bill. Maybe I'm wrong but I just can't agree with rewarding someone who broke our laws the privileges this country has to offer. I mean if someone broke into your house while you were at work even though they made your bed and did the dishes would that entitle them to move in with you?

The illegal aliens aren't entitled to or deserve to "wait here while being processed". They must be DEPORTED and sent to the back of the line BEHIND all legal immigrants. Legal immigrants aren't "waiting here" while their paperwork is being processed, why do you think illegal aliens should be allowed to??
They should grant amnesty to illegals so that from now on US can actually, strictly secure borders without having to worry about social collisions, mexican government being upset or just riots. They should grant amnesty because it's too late to not to. They should grant amnesty because US Economy will benefit from cheap labor %150. They should grant amnesty to re-define american society.A Melting Pot (expand diversity). They should grant amnesty so that all the money made stays in the US, because all the families will be here then. They should grant amnesty because if they deport all 12 to 20 million people, first of all it will be a disaster and secondly, all of a sudden some of the friends that you thought were legal will dissapear and you will get sad.
