Dual citizenship with Switzerland and USA?

I am currently a US citizen with a US passport. I also have swiss citizenship (through family and an application that was filed at age 18). That is the extent of my knowledge on the subject. I've had difficulty finding much information on it. How would I go about discovering what rights I have as a swiss citizen and can I get a Swiss passport? Please provide links if possible. Thanks.

Answer:
According to Wiki

---All Swiss citizens are:

able to vote in political elections upon reaching the age of 18.
able to run for political office.
able to start and give a signature to a petition of signatures for a referendum.
able to obtain a Swiss passport.
prevented from getting deported from Switzerland.
obliged to do military service (men only). ---

And according to the Federal Affairs the requirements for a passport are:
---application form available at the Embassy
2 recent identical black & white or color passport photographs for each applicant. Please visit the website of the Swiss Federal Office of Police for further information on the details;
Your current Swiss passport/identity card
Payment in cash of the fees-

You have to appear in person at the embassy. The site says that fees are currently $80 for a passport but it's not clear if that is only for the temporary passport or not. Either way the passport forms are obtained at the embassy. You should allow about 2 months processing time (but it is usually delivered in 3-4 weeks) there is a policy which allows them to process the application in a few days but is mainly used in emergencies.
Try the Swiss Embassy? That is odd, the way I understood it most other countries made you choose between them and the US when you turned 18... guess not. Cool beans for you! I wonder if I could dual up with Norway as my ancestry is there, only 3 generations ago...

Blah... anti-pc. I *think* dual citizenship just makes it easier to visit, doesn't it?
us Americans do not want other Americans with duel citizenship in our country, we would rather you go over to the other side if you are not 100% American. We can't count on fence sitters.
Anti PC your stupid, duel citizenship has been around for years, just because you don't like doesn't mean you can speak for everyone. I'm not sure on your question. But wouldn't that mean you have pay taxes to both governments?
If Switzerland allows dual citizenship, you can get a Swiss passport also. The US has no laws against it. You should look at the Swiss government's website for details.
