Do You Think Most Permanent Residents Should Become Americans?
Answer:
I think they should do whatever they want to do. This is a free country.
Actually, I don't think you should become an American unless your first loyalty is to America above any other country. Having people who consider their first loyalty to a different country vote on our laws seems like a built in conflict of interest to me. I realize that the requirements have been relaxed to allow dual citizenship, but they didn't ask me before they did that.
Why not, they do almost everything that a citizen does. They work, pay taxes, own homes, cars and everything else. The only thing they can't do is vote or get benefits from the gov.
If they do not want to that is also okay. It is up to them.
If they want to BE an American. If they just want to be here for the cash flow, I wish they wouldn't. But, at least they took the trouble to follow the laws, which is more than alot of people do.
Only if they did not over stay their visas and came here legally! Other than that: NO NO NO NO No NO NO NO NO NO No!
Yeah, you are allowed to do more stuff once you become a US American.
I think thats her right. Many dont want to lose citizenship to their home countries and that is their choice. That is what residency is all about. I dont think we should require anyone to become a citizen.
well if she dosent like the ways of the us why dosent she go back where she came from!!!
