This is a question based on information from Pat Buchanan's book, "State of Emergency", page 162. I believe the answer to that question is yes, and if Senators Kennedy and McCain pass the "Illegal Alien Amnesty" bill and Bush sign's it, this country will be doomed to becoming a multicultural, multiethnic, multilingual Tower of Babel.

I'm afraid it's already well on its way to being Babel. When our ancestors came here, they WANTED to be Americans. They put away the customs of the old country, made sure their kids spoke English, and cut their ties to the old country. No one was a hyphenated American.
I do worry about our poor country.
