The parents did something wrong and abused the system to use their children as a way to stay in the country. Why didn't the parents think of that before?

How many of them live in foster homes? Probably most of them live with relatives or friends of the family who are already US citizens.

You're right! They should go home with their parents, since they brought them here illegally and cannot claim citizenship until age twenty one and can't vote! Maybe they will be the ones to make Needed Changes in their Countries of Origin for the Better! I bet their countries of origin won't be telling them Silnencio for long, under those conditions compared to here!
It is more responsible than using children as a tool in which to "gain" citizenship. When the parents are deported there should be no reason why their children wont be able to leave with them.
They're also citizens of their parents countries. Ship them back with them; none of this entitles the parents to be left here. They should have thought about that before they came here.
And who's fault it is tha their Children are so traumatized. THe parents. In that case the should go to jail for Child endangerment. AS for the economic problem, it cost us money to send people to jail. THe theory goes, that it would prevent future losses , by preventing future crime. If we made it easier for foreigners to have children in the US. WEll there would be more people coming here to have children.
