Immigration and food stamps?

if to a resident get food stamps it affects in the future to become a u.s citizen

Answer:
Your question is not very clear. But i can tell you if you are a legal Resident Alien in the US it will not effect your application for Citizenship. For one thing you pay Taxes just like a regular born American Citizen. The only thing we can`t do is Vote or be summoned for jury duty.I think, that if we pay Taxes we should have the same rights.
Yes they get food stamps here in Nevada.and alot more.
why would a resident get food stamps if they are here to work?
Theft is theft.
If an illegal alien receives food stamps, he has just committed a crime against the US taxpaying citizens.
If the amount acculumates above $500, I do believe it should be construed as a felony larceny.
No it won't change your status. Food stamps and welfare were set up to be a short term help for people in need.It was never intended to be a way of life.
what? only US residents are supposed to be allowed food stamps if they are in need. People who come to the US on work permits are supposed to have a sponsor who is supposed to help them to have food and housing. That's the purpose of a "sponsor". If they don't have a sponsor then we aren't supposed to let them come into the country. Go talk to your sponsor.
