When California or Texas were under Spanish-Mexican rule; We Mexicans-Hispanics were the majority correct ?
In fact, I don't speak English! I do Speak Spanish!
So, I guess I am more American than you are!

VIVA MEXICO!
and/y
LONG LIVE the USA !
Answer:
That was a long time ago Amigo, Texas won it's independence and the Gadsden purchase paid for the rest of the SW.
like it , or not, yes you were!
well here in Texas many mexicanos joined with us to form a republic
And before Spanish-Mexican rule, the Navajo, Hopi, Utes, etc. were the majority
Another ignorant Hispanic. I am of Spanish ancestry. My ancestors came, controlled, subjugated your people and stopped the natives from ritual sacrfice. Taught you all catholicism and brought Spanish as the unifying language. We then of course took the gold, and the land, and turned it into farms.
The French came along and did likewise for a shorter time.
Then part of the land was lost in a fair war to the US.
Hispancs have always been in the majority in the SW USA.
Back in the day Mexican Americans called themselves CHICANO.
no you not because I had the US citizenship in my pocket
and you don't jaajajajajajajaajaj pendejo
The fact still remains that Cal. & Tex. are both part of the US not Mex. today come in legal or stay the f@#$ out!!!
LONG LIVE THE MINUTE MEN!!!
CCC, the only ignorant one here is YOU!!!!!!
I am also of Spanish decent, and NO self respecting Spanish, from Spain believe that, we are embarrassed for what our ancestors did to Mexico. You are an insult to good Spanish people from both Spain and Mexico.
Well, if you know History, we kicked Santa Anna's butt and took land all the way to Mexico City...then Mexico signed the Peace Treaty, The Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo, to give the US the land we now have (The Texas War of Independence and the Gadsden Purchase took care of the rest)...actually we could have kept all the land that we took, but who would want it anyway? So the US owns the area fair and square...so what is your complaint?
Edit: Wow I got two thumbs downs for a Historically correct answer...I guess two people were skipping school when this was taught...
America was formed from many countries. The south west came from Mexico. Alaska came from Russia. East coast came from England. Middle America came from France.
Mexican's have a weak argument, and intelligence. I think it is because that region in central America know as Mexico has a species know as the "Indigenous Retard".
Why do people constantly look backward?
And why do they wonder why they are not wanted, after they claim our land is theirs?
What's next? France asking for the Louisiana Purchase back? England claiming the colonies are still theirs, as an excuse to dump millions of the poor and unskilled on our shores?
I wish people would give it a rest.
By emphasizing your foreign roots you are certainly NOT exhibiting the undivided loyalty to America that we are looking for. Confrontation is not the way to make your case.
Being historically accurate, NO!
I don't know about California, but those were the circumstances in Texas. I should add that a good number of that same majority, joined by American immigrants to Texas, rebelled against a Mexican dictatorship. Go to San Antonio, visit the Alamo, and look at the names of people who died there and you'll perhaps find some of your own ancestors. Of course, that rebellion found fruit a few weeks later when the "Texian" forces defeated Gen. Santa Anna at San Jacinto and thereby gained independence from Mexico. A big irony to me is that now I hear a lot from Mexicans who want to take back Texas. Why would they want to take Texas back when their own forefathers (along with mine)fought and died for it to be free? Even as much as you obviously love Mexico, I think you would have to agree that Texas is far better off today than if it had remained a Mexican state. ---and some want to return it to third world status? Makes no sense.
