Sounds political, personal.... But, I think it is definitely 100% wrong to reward an illegal, drug dealing criminal. He is suing for something like 5 Million dollars!! What about the almost 800 lbs of marijuana, they found in the drug dealer's van, that he abandoned???? They shot him in the butt.It all is suspicious to me. They(border patrol agents) should never have been charged and imprisoned for doing their JOBS!!!
Because they were butt kissing Mexico again. This whole thing is criminal! The criminal gets pardoned and the good guys go to prison.
I heard an interview with the prosecutor in the case against Ramos and Compean. He said that there wouldn't have been a problem if they had filed the proper paperwork. So, they go to prison for over a decade because of bad paperwork?

Gotta go with "dizneyfreak1", and I firmly believe there is more to this case than the public was allowed to believe. I do agree that both the agents should have received some form of "administrative punishment", but not criminal. Also this sends out a clear message, that crimes does pay. The drug dealer got immunity, money and entry documents, all on us taxpayers.
The need to be PC in the eyes of other countries. This was not a racist hate crime. The guys were doing their job and they to were of Mexican decent. God bless my fellow Americans Ramos and Compean. If they are not given a pardon and allowed to return to work I will be very upset.
