There are plenty of people here illegally all over the world. I live in NYC. Believe me Mexicans are not the only ones guilty for all of the things you just mentioned, they are simply the scapegoats.

Because most don't have the means to do so legally and the immigration laws are so antiquated they don't work for this day and age..You will always have a few radicals demanding rights, they are the ones that media focuses on, and that's why it gets so much attention.The vast majority sneak in, keep a very low profile and work to feed their families.
I personally have had family members wait over five to ten years to get their papers to come to the United States from Guatemala. They are trying to get money so they can feed their families back home and leave something for themselves when they eventually return. Job opportunity sucks out there, because there is never any money, and you have to eat. So, when you are hungry you do what you have to do right? Nobody wants to wait ten years and watch their families starve. Plus it costs money to start the paperwork.and they don't have it. Most people that come here within a decnt time either have to get an arranged marriage with a citizen or have someone who is a citizen vouch for them. So anyone who wants to be ignorant about the situation can think about that. You want to watch your family starve or do something about it?
The demand for cheap labor in the US far exceeds the yearly quota of legal immigrants, and Mexico is just so conveniently located...

They are pushy and like to cut in front of others. Kinda like my experience at Target today. Mom didn't speak English (at least that is what she wanted me to think) had 3 kids in the cart tried to cut in front of me. Swear I'm stand in line with one of my kids and my cart and she goes to squeeze in front of me. I started laughing and asked what she was doing. She played dumb and said no English and started to push in front of me again I told her no go get behind me.
Actually, most evidence says that immigrants don't make the crime rate higher. Besides, obviously the initial crime of entering the country illegally in the first place. "Music around the clock"... well, whatever you want to think. I live in an immigrant neighborhood, and the only obnoxious thing I hear around the clock are car alarms. (btw, I am not an immigrant, I only live in the community.)
And, a simple reason that more mexicans enter the country illegally than other country's citizens is that we share a border. It's a lot easier to smuggle someone across an imaginary line in the dirt than across an ocean.

They dont want to wait for their turn through the legal process. They want it now without putting out any effort. The fact that besides Canada Mexico is the only country close enough to us to walk from. Our borders are long and not secured so the illegal aliens just walk in. Mexico is not a poor country. There are many people suffering in poverty much worse than the Mexicans. Thats just more Bull. They arent starving they may not be eating high on the hog but they arent starving. There are poor people right here in the USA that could use the money spent on illegal aliens. My choice is take care of Americans first.

I'm sure if Europe was closer to the US we'd see a lot of illegal immigration from them. And "Mexicans" are escaping poverty, so that being said, they have no funds to pay for the process that may take years. There is a lot more to it than you think!
If you get an honest answer from an illegal I'll be shocked.

because the legal process is very hard and because they don't have time to wait. I should know because my parents were illegal. I think you guys need to spend 3 months living the life my my parents lived and you will see why.
first of all, there is a certain quota on how many "legal" immigrants are allowed each year, also, the immigration system is very backed up meaning that it could take years and years to even start the process. Many also don't have the money to start the process, which can run upwards of a thousand dollars depending on how you do it (there are scams out there). Many also need money to help their families NOW not in 5-10 years.
I like tacos and fajitas. Don't forget "Guacamole".
I thought there was a border under construction... people shouldn't EMPLOY them! The reason people go illegally to another country is because someone profits from it. Imagine someone paying an illegal alien miserable wage and saving lots of money! It's all business.

one grow up two there not the all the problem for the crime rate also you go in live in mexico and come back and tell me how u like becasue let me tell you do you want to eat beans and eggs almost everyday and if you dont have the money you dont eat i know becasue i went a lived there for a while and for your info they only get pay 70.00 per week try and live off of that with a family you cannot so get a life and if you dont know what you are talking about keep your mouth shut

MAN of the LEFT may have a misguided sense of duty to help the less fortunate, ( a notion completely alien to a compassionate conservative), it is the American Businessman that is totally responsible for the scale and growth of the illegal alien problem. It is the businesses that rather hire illegal aliens than pay a living wage. And the worse businesses are the major ones like Tyson and Walmart who will gladly hire an illegal to save a few bucks and make bigger profits. And here is a news flash for Mr. Perfect, it is right wing conservatives who are running those corporations. After all, all us lefties (we think of ourselves as compassionate human beings) are out hugging trees or something and do not have time to run a company.
As for all those who make nasty comments about illegals not paying any taxes, if you would take a look at the US tax code, you would find that most illegal aliens would not only not owe taxes due to their low income, but may well qualify for earned income credits. So why would we be better off if they did file?
It would be very interesting to take a look at the pay stubs of some of these alien workers and see if taxes are being taken out of their checks, but somehow never making it to Washington or the states. I know of two cases where the employer was found to be pocketing the taxes so he could pay even less to the worker. They got caught because the worker filed a complaint with the IRS when they did not get a W-2. They thought that paying taxes would help them qualify for legal status, but did not know the company was pocketing the money.
