I want to know. Where is the best place in California.
Where I could live well and pay not high taxes.
Answer:
Don't come to Monterey Bay, thats for sure. You can't really find a place to rent for under $1,000 unless it's a studio with one room.

California has the highest taxes in the country I believe
From what I've heard about California taxes, you'd be much better off migrating to any one of several other states that don't have a state income tax - Texas, Tennessee, Washington, Florida, to name a few. Good luck - and please do come here legally!
