Apparently it is only acceptable to be proud of your race if you are a minority. I guess whites will be able to declare our pride once we are passed over as the majority by illegally immigrating Mexicans or habitually procreating African Americans. Politically incorrect, don't care.

I don't find pride in La Raza, your confused.And honestly you can have white pride, I have no problem with it.
I should note that "La Raza" does not consider themselves Hispanic. Fair skinned Hispanics and dark skinned Hispanics, are really not welcomed in La Raza.
Hispanic is not a race, it means coming from a Spanish speaking country or culture. Hispanic has nothing to do with race or religion.
I agree with Velo2. I'm fair skinned and many people say, "oh, I thought you were white" when they hear me speak Spanish. Well, I am white and I'm also Hispanic. I don't go around saying that I'm proud to be white and Hispanic because that's just not the type of person I am. I honestly find the whole thing silly, going around saying that you're proud to be _____.
I say, go ahead John, say it loud, you're white and you're proud. There's absolutely no racial connotation in that statement. I didn't realize that the La Raza's were discriminating for depth of skin tone. Now that's a hoot! I should have known they'd be that crude! Treasonists have a color agenda to be part of their little organization.
Well "white pride" is associated with the skin heads, White supremacists, KKK members, and groups. So when one announces their white pride - people automatically will think you are associated with those groups. Those groups have made a bad name and image to white European heritage. So one is limited to what they should use to be proud of their white race. Therefore one must break down their ethnicity (nationalities) and work with those to state their pride. Irish Pride. French Pride. Italian Pride. etc...
And not defending them, but La Raza pride would be "The People" pride for Hispanics for whom the organization caters to, and represents.
