Does anybody know where the majority of LEGAL immigrants are coming from?
Answer:
Mexico, hands down. A lot of it is because of the family preferences and the fact that they were the largest group that was given amnesty in 1986.
What do you guys MEAN 'Europe'?? They aren't even close.

Maybe Cuba, I believe that once they reach American soil they will automatically be eligible to file for citizenship because of their political status in Cuba.
south america and asian countries..there are a lot of Philippians, Chinese and Koreans in the states
Its funny that most of the legal ones are from places other than Mexico, and the listing for illegals as per INS is,
1- Mexican
2- OTM (Other Than Mexican)
The only country where you will be come to US legally is Puerto Rico and Virgin Island, becouse is a US territory, so they don't need green card or passport, others country need papers. Since the Latins is one of the big immigrants group, that put Puerto Ricans in the only Latin people that can come over here without paper. But the major group of immigrants that come to US are from Mexico and most of them doesn't have paper.

The only legal one's are newborns who are born to American parents!! Cause all immigrants are illegal
The corrrect answer is Mexico. I know they contribute the most of the illegals as well, but they also constitute the biggest block of legal immigrants as well.
