The president said he was disappointed about his immigration bill's demise in the Senate and reiterated his support for a guest worker program and a path toward citizenship for many of the 12 million illegal immigrants now in the United States.

Let me see, does this clearly state that Bush does not want our border laws enforced? For anyone who doubts, I think this lays it on the table.
I also have to say that it's more likely, if things continue that people will soon be saying, "May we're running out of money to cover free medical care for illegal aliens."

That's exactly what I saw when I read it! I thought, OMG he stuck his big stupid foot in his mouth again! WITHOUT the program, and WITH stricter enforcement of the border, is how we're going to get em knocking on our doors! He is so transparent.
I wouldn't wish Bush on my worst enemy? he does not belong in power- he fooled the people, and the people voted- how is this not a crime, what a thin line Bush has created between a President and a Criminal!
BS - And IF there is a shortage of workers you simply increase the number of worker visas- stroke of a pen. Big deal.

Speaking of free medical care, the children's health bill reauthorization the Senate Finance committee just overwhelmingly approved is designed to pay states MUCH more if they revamp their state plans to pay health for legal immigrants as well as children who are citizens up to a family income of $80,000 - and here is the catch -- each child must be 'PRESUMED' to be here legally (by specific requirement) and a family's income is sufficiently verified by the parent signing that the income is as they say.
If that isn't piling on the incentive for illegals to come here, I don't know what is.

Bush is a globalist, and all globalist are haters of America. Their only goal is to destroy America as we see it. I think our agents will be pardoned. There was no way the Republicans could actually carry the water on this issue. They couldn’t budge Bush. Johnny Sutton is a personal friend of GW’s and friendship has always meant everything to the man. Sutton is wreaking havoc in El Paso. One corruption investigation after another of local government officials. Indictments and many pending. Some innocent people are caught up in it. BUT ( a very big BUT) Congressman Reyes has not opened his mouth in eight months about the agents and today he did. He called for Bush to pardon the Border Patrol agents. Why? Why now? Because it is now a Democrat issue in a 85% Democrat town and Dianne Feinstein is helping to lead the charge for a pardon. It is now that dastardly Bush Administration and Johnny Sutton who put our guys in prison. The Democrats are going to ride to the rescue. I don’t care how it comes to be or who gets credit.it needs to be done quickly.
