Where can I read this new immigration bill everyone is talking about ?
Answer:
thomas.gov has the basic bill under the number S 1639. However, there was a 300+ page amendment introduced today that will be fragmented into its componant parts to prevent anyone else from offering amendments. I'll get that in a sec.

A lot of that is duplicative of the bill, amendments are embedded.
It was not designed to review easily. If they had wanted it to be understood they wouldn't have gone to such lengths to avoid committees and to hide amendments pre-agreed to behind closed doors.
