And what makes people think that we would be paying higher prices anyway? I'm not going to support the greed of the large corporations. It's called supply and demand. If people refuse to pay outrageous prices, the companies will be forced to cut their own greedy profits.

If we are paying more than the savings in funding schools and social programs for their cheap labor and their families, it isn't a savings.
Worse, our schools are failing.
I'd be happy to pay more for incidentals to get our schools back the way they were.

No. They don't. Only mom and pop operations still do cost plus pricing. Everybody else either hires marketing companies or do it in house to make sure that they're charging all that the market will bear.
You can't get away with charging less than cost. But those Nike shoes that sell for $200 in the US cost $5 to make in Indonesia.
