I want to get a job and move to England. What type of trade/skill is needed in England? What level of education would I need (AA, BA, MA, Phd, MD, ect.)? How easy/difficult is it for an American to live and work in England? Specifically London. Would I be better off working for an American employer with branches in England and then transfering? What industries are such business in?
Am I just limited to nurseing and teaching (neither appeal to me)?
Answer:
It really depends on what you want to be. You may find it easy to get a job but you could work for lesser pay than what you're used to if you don't have the credentials to back things up. American credientials usually hold up fairly well in the UK.
You'll have to acquire the skill to complain about how Americans have it so easy. ;)
I dont think its that difficult to get move to the UK. if you have a credible degree then im sure you wont have too much trouble getting a work permit
