When i read the questions about the illagals issue, everyone who answered talk like the are 100% americans.?

There is so much hate in most of these answers. Why? I am sure if most of them digg a little bit in their past they will find out that their parents or grand parents came here illegally. Even Lou Dobbs. I understand that they came here illegally, which is bad, but they are not the only ones. I think people should not say all kind of bad things about, like Lou Dobbs is doing on CNN every day. He speaks so bad about illegals, but he is getting millions just for talking about illegals. He should love them. Because he is making a living by talking about them all day.

Answer:
You hit a point, ONE WAY OR ANOTHER, all of us which either were born here, or became US Citizens, were ILLEGALS one day, just see the last names of some of our congress people, who is really an American, either they came on the May Flower (anderson, williams, fuller, martin, rogers, etc.) now check the congress: Ackerman, Andrews, Bachmann, Baldwin, Campbell, Carnahan, McHenry, Schakowsky, Smith, Sherman, Lewis, Waxman, Neugebauer, OHHH yes very AMERICAN last names, I wonder what would you find if you check their family history, are they ALL NATIVE AMERICANS, or they came here, some day, we are a nation created by ILLEGALS that HATE illegals, I am not saying that immigration has to be the way it is now, NO we have to have discipline, yes but without hate, I am wondering also why so many call AMERICANS wish to go back to "their land" for vacation, if you live in CA, remember Warren Duffy, ex DJ from KKLA, duffy and Company, he was more proud to be "Irish" than being American, he spoke about Ireland like the dream land, oh yes he is American, how many times I heard the guy talking like a "Christian" about Illegals, and the hate out of his mouth, but the first opportunity to go to Ireland, oo Lord can't miss that one, I am more proud to visit the grand canyon, or North Dakota, or Miami Beach, why should I keep going back to my fathers land, YES, i've been there, it's nice to go there but I AM AN AMERICAN, I rather know more this land, this is were I live NOW, if you miss so much Ireland or England, or any other country GO BACK you are the ILLEGAL not us, you are the WET BACK, not us, who told you you are an AMERICAN, guess who the only americans are?, everyone else is ILLEGALLY PARK HERE...

It is Ok, to make immigration LEGAL, and to make things right, but by now I believe to help those who came to work, and the ones that wants to leave at others expense, have to pay the price, go back..
Lou Dobbs loves getting ratings for being a racist, the problem is that people actually tune in to hear him, and then spread his cancer throughout society.
I watch Lou Dobbs every night i don't see him attacking legal immigrants he putting the Spot light on illegal aliens.

I was born here
Sitting Bull invited my family to come !!
I was born in Italy and I become American
there is not 100% American for the simple
reason everyone can become American
but what is must important is the feeling of your heart

I am proud Italian American the best of the best

uuuuuuuuuUUUUHAAAAA!
Sorry, but my ancestors emigrated legally to the United States, going through Ellis Island or coming from Canada. And I am a natural-born citizen, so sorry, but I am 100% American.
I was born here and I was not an anchor baby
The difference is that 100 or 200 years ago people were coming to this country to populate it and build a new nation. Today the country is crowded, filled with crime, smog and we don't need any more people. My ancestors came her 300 years ago so I definitely consider myself a true American. They fought in the Revolutionary War, Civil War, World War I and World War II for this country. It isn't fair and makes me angry that people could just waltz into the country today and receive all of the same rights that I have for no reason.
It isn't about hate...it is about what is right and wrong.

My thing is that illegal aliens working in the US are not subject to US labor laws that protect Americans from dangerous conditions, long hours, and decent pay. Why come here, get paid less, worked to death, and sometimes in dangerous conditions?

There is a reason that some employers only emply illegals. They don't have to insure them, they don't have to pay them as well, and they don't have to worry that they will complain about working in dangerous and unsanitary conditions.

I think everyone should be able to work in decent conditions with decent pay and have insurance, and if you get hurt while working you receive workmen's comp. If you are an undocumented worker, you have no recourse if you are mistreated in any way while working for an employer.
I have no hate for illegals. I have pity for them that their lives were so bad where they were that they had to break the law to come here. But they did break the law.

I know SO many people who have come here legally (I work in the hotel industry and work with people from 22 different countries - ALL here legally), and I know that some of them had long waits to get here, or to be able to work, or bring family members. But they did it the legal way and I respect that. Just like my family members, yes, all of them, who came from Russia in the early 1900's.
Hmmm... Where to begin?

Sweetheart, you cant swim an ocean and get here illegally from Germany, Ireland, England, France, Italy, or Russia. You were on a boat, you went for days crammed in one on top of another. You then went through customs (San Fransisco in the West, Ellis Island in the East) where you were cleaned, checked for Lice and other forms of communicable disease, then you went to register your name. If the agent couldn't spell your name, say Schmitt, you bacame Smith. But you know what you didn't hear much complaining. Compared with the starvation in Ireland, the cold and demonic government in Russia, the poor Whitechapel of London and the overcrowding in Germany America had streets paved with gold. And guess what they were here legally.

Sure you could probably find some who entered illegally, but not many. Since we have a total of two countries that border us.

You want to know why we are so hard on those here Illegally? We have worked very hard. Yes, we have. Our ancestors came here with NOTHING, but they came here legally. And yet here we sit with clothing, food, housing, warm water, and air conditioning. Cars that take us anywhere when they had to walk, take crowded trains and trolleys, or ifyou were richer and had $5 you could buy a Model T.

And now someone wants to cut in line. They want to take everything we have worked hard for as their own and not work for it, not pay taxes for it, not defend it in the military. Do you see the problem here?
I think many people talk like this because of fear. They do not put themselves in an immigrants shoes an think about what it must be like to uproot from the only home you have ever known to go to a place where you are talked about in a language you don't even understand. Then you have to completely start over with nothing. And you have family a world away counting on you to make a difference. Some don't realise what they have.
I was born here. My parents were born here. My grandparents were born here.My great grandparents were born here. THEIR parents came here LEGALLY from Germany. I am not anti immigration, I am anti ILLEGAL immigration. And so should you be.
My ancestors were a mix of Cherokee and Oglethorpe Georgia indentured servants. My family has payed its dues, including fighting in the Revolution, Civil War (most fought for the Confederacy except a small group that lived in North Virginia and moved up to Pennsylvania, joining the Union), WWI, and WWII.
I was watching Aqui y Ahora on Univision and while I firmly believe that all immigrants should come legally, and if they aren't legal they should go through the necessary steps to become legal, the issue the show discussed tonight was not a happy one. The level of hate crimes against Mexicans is apparently quite high these days, but oddly enough, a number of them are committed by other Mexicans. But people are getting beaten up in the streets, killed; it's not a good situation. That sort of thing shouldn't happen here, and I know it does happen all the time in every large city whether it should or not, and Mexicans are hardly the only victims, but it is still distressing. Ganging up on someone, whether they're legal or not, is not acceptable.

Anyway... just to let you know we don't all hate immigrants. We just get irritated when people from any country cross our borders illegally because in this day and age, that can have dangerous effects. I don't think many people realize how dangerous.
The problem with the illegal immigrants lies in the US and not in Mexico or with the Mexicans trying to improve their lives.

The problem and the culprit is US industry, Wal-Mart, US farms and almost assuredly someone in your family or living on your block.

The same problem exists in the so called drug war. That problem is called DEMAND.

If you want the drugs and the illegal aliens to stop flooding across the borders...stop employing illegal’s and consuming drugs.

All of us Americans, of all economic levels and all races and religions are so 'cultured' to blame someone else that we never take responsibility when it can possibly be shifted to someone else.

Best Regards.
It's spelled illegals An Lou Dobbs is 1 of the few that keeps us informed as no other Media tell us anything or only if something happens to an illegal ,not what there trying to do to this great country. An he cut a lot out also,Thank God opps im going to viol== for the G word. There is all the News on line. The Media is so far left that it's not even on your computer screen.100% ===200 million strong USA citizens, asked or is it told our %@#!#&( Gov offical they got the message on the shamnesty bill, Next is close the borders & enforce our laws. Theres no hate we love them.Look how much we given then for being here.
look they are illegal immigrats not aliens from mars Legionary titus pull they have blood and hearts and brains and a soul like all of us ya meaybe they did come here illegally but i bet mor then half of you reading this and if you erase my message you ignorant person is one have created a bigger crime and don't get all this hate to them because the colo of their skin all men are created iqual remenber and in life you are never better then the person next to you
In this country we like to have things done legally. When someone does something illegal it is considered wrong. There is a right (legal) way to immigrate to America, and there is a wrong (illegal) way. Most people don't mind immigrants in this country, as long as they came legally.
Sweetheart Lou makes some good points. These people are here 'illegally' and supporters are avoiding the term 'illegal' by leaps and bounds. People that are here 'legally' are very upset that they did things the right way. Also the aliens here 'illegally' are going into our hospitals and receiving healthcare free, but at the cost of citizens. Also the aliens here 'illegally' are taking jobs that high school and college students would normally take. Not to mention the slew of unemployed computer programmers and manufacturing works that our out of jobs due to the onslaught of outsourcing.
Believe it or not this countries economy is not as rosey as the media is making it out to be. If you read international news you will see.
If our government truly wanted to start fixing the issue the borders would have been secured a long long time ago. Don't worry your little head about this, the North American Union is coming and there will be no borders to worry about securing and our wages will be brought down to the wages of Mexicans and everything will be regulated.
There is no such thing as an immigration gene, whereby just because my grandparents were immigrants there is a strong chance that I might be one too.
So, you think everybody should just love the crossing of our borders by third worlders. Lou Dobbs is just like most of us. We are sick and tired of Mexican flags being waved in our streets. Everyone I know would have more sympathy if they paraded around with the American flag. We don't like our cities like Miami turning into the third world. Please tell me how many illegals are here from something other than third world country. Oh, and by the way my family was here since the 1800's and it was all legal. Thank you.
That simply isn't true. I know how my ancestors got here, and they didn't come illegally.

I have no idea why this argument keeps coming up.
Oh go hug a tree or something, youre useless.
Actually almost everyone that had to cross an ocean came here legally i.e they were screened by some government offical usually on Ellis Island for at least health and ability to work..

Sure many didn't have the proper documents but back then the US was a manual labor intensive economy.and truly needed these people. Today, we have a large underclass of citizens that would take a lot of these jobs that go to illegal aliens if they knew where these jobs were.

Our citizen underclass is not networked - most illegal immigrants are.

To Nina (next post):
Mexicans comprise at least 56% of all illegal immigrants i.e. just one country supplies over half the illegal immigrants in the US. Some reputable studies say it's 2/3.
I just wanna make my point...its not only mexicans...why is it that in MOST answers people put MEXICANS on the spot light..its also people from El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Cuba, and all of south america...n not just south america...all of asia and europe...its not just mexicans..that cross the border illegaly...and everyone needs to stop hatin on illegals because they are the ones who do all da hard work, while all the americans do the easy job inside a building typing their little papers n drinking coffee...if u think about it an illegal probably built that building you are in..made the clothes you are wearing..so next time stop and think..and see things from an illegal's point of view..
My family were all legally immigrated into the USA, by the rules and laws that were established at the time of their entries.

Guess that makes your statement moot, doesn't it?

BTW I'm part Native American, too, and no I dont' believe in NeverNeverLand, I mean Aztlan.
America was founded by mostly hardworking honest people who came from different backgrounds but pulled together to make one strong new country. They came legally through many ports of entry.Nobody can claim to be more American than someone else, that is what make our country unique. The people who made this country strong had to let go of the past and move forward. They had to blend together and not let their differences come between them. What is going on now with this illegalissue and flying of foreign flags is just insane. It is not the dream our forefathers had for us.
