Is there any good honest candidate(and not a Lawyer) for the 2008 presidency ?

Barak Obama: A Hollywood wanna be.Think if he is biracial & a Lawyer, then he should be president.
Hillary Clinton: Love to sit on the fence, read the polls ,then expreses her opinion. No back bone or character, but just an opportunest.
John Eduard : An Ambulance chaser. Made his wealth by taking to court Hospitals & Insurance companies, that got our health insure up.
John Kerry: A flip Flopper who never worked a day in his life & wealth was handed to him & married a wealthy woman. Then calling our men in uniform dumb cuz they are not in College.
I just can't find ONE that i would give my vote too. The problem is that the midia makes them heros so we could get sucked# into the trap & vote for them.
Does anyone agrees ? ur opinion !

Answer:
I have to agree with you. At the present there are not any candidates that I would vote for. If the Republicans(Liberals) get office, I am afraid America will be doomed. For one thing they have been so against our President Bush that they really don't know what is going on. Maybe the war in Iraq is taking lives. But it is better to fight there than here. If 911 had been unnoticed by America how many more 911s would we have had by now. I just don't understand these Liberals. I was once Democrat but not anymore. I will vote for what is best for America and it certainly is not a Democrat. These liberals , oh boy, what will we have in store for us?
Sadly, not a one yet.

Although I think that Obama may be a decent choice from the current democratic lists.

Clinton - she was already President via her husband. She has her own agenda, and is not the saviour of America that most people think. When she was told that her plans for health care reform would destroy american small businesses, she said that she could not be responsible for every American.

Edwards - You said it.

Kerry - Well, I read that he will not run, but one thing that should be noted: during the last election campaign, he was stressing the fact that he was an intellectual, while Bush was an idiot. Turns out that their averages in college were very close, with Bush beating him by 0.1

The problem is that Honest, and Presidency seem to be mutually exclusive most of the time.
Obama I am told is terminally Liberal. He thinks we need more government control.(you aren't able to make your own decisions) Unfortunately, to be a candidate of a major party, you need the approval of the "Bilderbergers", and they are all for more government, and a one world government. (How stupid is that?) Ron Paul might run for a nomination (on the Republican side) and if he does, I'll vote for him.
I like John McCain and Joseph Lieberman. They are both honest and say what they think and let the chips fall where they may. McCain was a POW in Viet Nam for 7 years and came out with his sanity intact, body somewhat broken, but great character. And hey lets get over the fact that Joe Lieberman is Jewish, so was Golda Miere. It's time for fairness and for cohesion in our government. Hillary scares the bejesus out of me with her socialistic leanings. And the questioner has hit the nail on the head .
Ron Paul if he runs is the only person who would get my vote

Hillary.. is a idiot
Kerry isn't running
Edwards..lol
Obama.. as someone else stated is communist in disguise. He feels we cant be allowed to make our own decisions. That the government should make them for us..and again he's not qualified.
Don't buy into the media hype.
I thought you were illegally here and therefor cannot vote.

Me, I'm currently thinking of Tancredo and Hunter. Not being a lawyer, when they will be writing laws and voting on them, is not a requirement for me.
Lieberman seems to be a man of principle, willing to do what is right even if it is not popular within his Party. Not perfect, but better than most of the other top demo candidates.

Obama is still too much of an unknown. He strikes me as someone who would like to be principled, but is too willing to go with the flow within the party. The DCCC emails sent in his name strike me as opportunistic and disingenuous. Not enough trust yet.

Edwards: you already have a perfect read on him & IMO, he is smart, but way too slick. He comes off as being kind of oily and far too reassuring when there is nothing to be reassured about. I get the feeling he is trying to sell me something that is good for him, but not necessarily good for me or the country, like a brilliant and skilled surgeon persuading me to have surgery I don't really need, but which will be profitable for him to perform.

Hillary: again, good read on her. Whatever happened regarding Whitewater and the unfortunate demise of so many FOBH? Scary lady, scarier leader.

McCain: either disingenuous or seriously naive, losing my vote either way. The campaign finance law he drafted enables the government to impose criminal sanctions for political speech. The Supremes (in their former iteration, at least) had not the backbone to call this unconstitutional piece of crap what it was. Anyone who would propose such a liberty-limiting law has no place in American government, and especially not the White House.

Ron Paul: a Texas doctor, seems to be a principled legislator favoring smaller government, lower taxes, less regulation. Ardently anti-war, would like to see what alternatives he comes up with.

Kevin Trudeau: yes, the infomercial guy. Has some quirks that may make him unelectable, but if he runs, will have a hum-dinger of a campaign based more on issues than his personality. Smart guy willing to fight against the government, but opinions on non-crucial issues tend to alienate those who otherwise might support him. Very principled, from all appearances, but perceptions and priorities could be troubling.

Colin Powell: can anyone get him to run? Even as a VP?

If a green Libertarian were to emerge from the fringes and not propound the "guns and drugs" platform that gets Libertarians dismissed summarily, such a candidate could draw support from both sides of the aisle.
