Is this shamnesty causing flat out hatred towards illegals in the US?

I am not sure that it is hate towards illegals but a burning resentment toward our govt that thinks the people will keep taking it and keep taking it. People complained about illegal immigration before but now that the govt is trying to force this bill down the throats of the people. The govt is forcing people to take a stand. The majority of people in the US just want a decent job to support themselves and family. The money you make today buys less than a year ago or two years ago. This is the first generation that thinks that their children will be worse off that they are. Will people eventually stand up and take to the streets? Yes. This country has had wars and riots before and it changed the country. If the govt continues on it's current path I fear for peace in this country. I lived through the anitwar riots during Viet Nam and I lived thorugh the Civil rights movements in the 60. Those protesting were sometimes physically harmed and/or killed by those were elected to serve. It might have been local or Federal but that changed those who were the silent majority to make thier voices heard when it became clear that those who were suppose to protect us and look out for our interest turned against WE THE PEOPLE. It now is not just the average citizen but those who have a public forum are speaking out. I hope never to see my country at war with itself but when the door is open and the wages go down the drain it just might be the final spark that catches the whole thing on fire. There are four main industries that use illegals. Ag is one. This is not the family farm but corporate farms. The southwest is in a draught. Water that is drawn for the Colorado is not going to sustain the farms and the citites that utilize it. Food prices will go up. Kansas has fought a years long battle over water rights the Arkansas RIver that is now dry, it once was a pretty big river. A dust bowl is not unheard of. Service industry - If you are having trouble with money or out of a job, you cut back on eating out. If you are cutting back are you planning on traveling on vacation? Construction. The actual wage in construction has fallen the last four years. Home forclosures are up. Home buying is falling. See any change in sight? Corporations are starting to move their headquarters overseas. Halliburton has already done so. Since manufacturing jobs are done mostly overseas now. Is it a big stretch that they move offices also. We have been sold out to corporate America by our govt. Do I think a revolution will start over illegals. Nope but it will not take too many more betrayals of the people for this situation to get ugly. Unfortunatly it will start against those who have litttle or no protection and that are the illlegals themselves. Do I think it will get ugly? Yes I do but I hope that WE THE PEOPLE are strong enough to stand up and stop this madness before our children have to take to the streets and take back the country. It may not happen in 5 or 10 years but any student of history knows that most countries great or small have violent histories. Most of those violent histories have to do with the abuse of the citizens of that country. Sometimes the revolt inproves the lives of the people some times not. We are not immune.
The PRO-illegal parades did a good job of pissing off millions of Americans (who then contacted their representatives).

Yes this is becoming a powder keg. The only problem is Congress and the pro illegal crowd are running around with matches. I have a bad feeling things are going to get very bloody.

I just hope that I, an Indian, am not mistaken for an illegal because I am a legal citizen and my parents are legal citizens who received their citizenship after coming here legally from India. And we're not that weird hindu thing we're catholic.
Hatred and fear come from ignorance - not from the government.
If a person is fearful and filled with resentment and has a low sense of self-esteem, he or she will be naturally racist and display hatred.
The more education a person has and the higher the mentality, the less fear and hatred they have.

I think the amnesty is causes hatred towards our Representatives. what is causing the hatred towards the illegal other than them being here illegally is the fact that we have supported them all this time and they turn around instead of asking to be allowed to stay, instead of showing they want to be Americans, they turn around and call us stupid lazy American, they raise their flags above ours and stomp ours on the ground. they talk about taking over an aging America by having more and more children until they out number us. that is what is causing the hatred.

Sure it is. But not as much hatred as towards our representatives. Especially the ones who voted to revive this bill again. And again without Americans being represented in the process. Again without the actual of cost to American taxpayers, and again without a committee. Everything @zz backwards in this one. But we can't vote illegals out of office. We can only have them deported.
Besides I'm not giving up on the fight, and continue to contact every Congress Member, and Senator about this issue. About telling them to get on-line and into Yahoo Q and A. Pointing them to the questions and answers from the illegals, pro-illegals, and the anti- Americans. Especially all the ones regarding Aztlan, and their plans to takeover parts of America. I copy and paste the links to emails to the representatives, since they seem to be too lazy themselves to get here and go through these invaders.
I find that even though the immigration bill was revived, I still find comfort that they are still saying

And Congress is much more aware of and on top of killing this bill all together if it comes before them.
Yes, and it is not because of race, even though I can see some legal Hispanics getting caught in the cross fire. I think of them more as scabs crossing a picket line.
I guess that anger and hatred boil in the same pot. But I hope the laws can be abided by before the killing begins. I'd hate to think that we could come to the point of a war but lots of people out there believe in vigilante justice. I'm just going to keep praying that our government will come to it's senses. But maybe the North American Union supporters are casting all of this like a play so that we will lose sight of the real issues? What do you think?
The actions of both the Senate in blatantly ignoring the wishes of the American majority and the actions of the extremists who protest, burn our flag, scream obscenities and threaten to take over our nation is inciting an intolerance among many citizens. It won't stop at intolerance if the Senate proceeds or the illegals continue their flagrant offenses.

My husband and I are doing our best to not do business anywhere that illegals are employed.
We've stopped having them wash our truck and we won't dine anywere where they work including fast food and I won't shop anywhere where I see illegals working.
I think if everyone did this who is against the amnesty bill it would hurt the company's who employ them and they might stop hiring them.
After all they are the ones who want the cheap labor and is bribing our President to keep them here.
But the only way we can get back at the businesses who hire those people is if we no longer give them our money.
Because money is what this is all about it has nothing to do with caring about people or wanting to help them.
And I'm afraid if the amnesty bill passes that the illegals will take over and American's will no longer matter.
We will be thrown to the way side as the illegals take everything that is ours and make it theirs.
And when it comes time to give each of them their earned income tax credit of $700.00 we will be expected to pay it as our Government won't have any other way of obtaining all of the millions needed to recompensate them for making low wages.
And that will open a whole new can of worms.
People it's NOT over yet.

Thurs Cloture vote will be close but WE can finally kill this Scamnesty Bill.
The Bill would still have to make it in The House if it inched by this Thurs. The House has NO intention of passing this Amnesty Bill.

The discontent is from the frustration of the people towards the government. The governemnt can't seem to accomplish anything right these days. We the people expect the govt. to protect us and to have the govt. protect our interests. Which is why we voted them into office. After all, we are the people.
