How MUCH is it now to take the test to be an American citizen?

My grandma has been here for many years as a legal resident, but she wants to get her citizenship... How much will it be?

Answer:
The immigration web site said the filing cost and biometric cost comes to about $400. but that's just to file the request, it did not say anything about the test cost.

Apparently some one was telling me the cost will be rising in the next moth or two, but that came from a second hand source.

Anyhow good luck to your grandma. It was my grandparents dreams to be citizens, sadly my grandfather died a month before his test, but my grandmother became a citizen a year before she passed and was very proud to finally be a citizen.

I wish her the best of Luck =)
i think its around $400 + not exactly sure

i know its going to be raised pretty soon also. so if she wants to do that she should hurry up
It is$400. In june its going up to $675. Good luck.
