Is there a drug test for green card applicants?
Answer:
You are supposed to undergo a full physical/medical/psychological exam for a visa application. And to apply for a greencard, unless you've recently had a medical exam (within the last 12 months) you do need to undergo yet again another medical exam.
The blood drawn could be used to test for drug use.
no, you could smoke anything , is not their business.
No we get all their perks..
I don't know if there is a test specifically for drugs, but the applicant is usually required to have a physical examination in which blood may be drawn.
You have to take a blood test and they do give you and AIDS test. Maybe the rules changed in the last few years, but I doubt that they test for specific drugs.
yes, a full medical exam is required and has to be done by an approved civil surgeon. vaccinations, tb tests, HIV tests, etc. are required. check out form I-693 and the supplemental form on the www.uscis.gov site under forms. the dr. checks for signs of drug/alcohol abuse.
