my wife is coming to USA, what's the VISA CATEGORY used to petition for her? thanks a lot

A little confused by your question. The below should cover it though.

If you are a USC she is an immediate relative and as such is not subject to numerical limits under immigration law for a visa.

If you are a LPR (green card holder) she would come under Second Preference (F2)
