If Jesus-Christ were U.S President would he Reform our Immigration Laws, feed the poor & tax the rich?
Hello America!
Answer:
If Jesus Christ were president , that would mean that the majority of voters were Christians . If the vast majority of voters were Christians , then there would be NO welfare . The helpless , orphans etc. would be taken care of by charities and Churches , not legislation that steals the money out of every taxpayer's pocket . Able bodies would work or starve . We wouldn't have the immigration problem , since the illegal aliens couldn't get the welfare they are here to steal today . If you had actually read the Bible that you are trying to twist to fit your purpose , you would already know this !
yes
He would never run, as he knew all human governments suck.
where would he get the money , from you? I doubt it you seem like a taker not a giver
Of course he would!
Modern American Christians are far from being the people that Jesus wanted to follow him.
Sad
yes... i beleive your concept... it makes you wonder
No he would send the Illegals into the desert for 40 days and 40 nights and let them eat bread. Tax the rich ? let Caeser have what is Caeser's. Feed the poor? Yes.
No, he would not because he knows that WORK is good for the soul.
Man..dont ya know Christianity only comes up when they want someone to stop something they disagree with? ...My Gawd man, being charitable, kind to those less fortunate.....that takes sacrifice...have you lost your mind?
I doubt if he would be a president but I'm sure he would speak at seminars and be the greatest motivational speaker of all time. Oh, he already is.
Sure we would become one big welfare state, wouldn't that be wonderful, they call that communism, its been tried and it does not work. Sheeeeeeeeesh!!!!
He would tell immigrates to obey the law of the land.
He would feed the poor and then tell them if they don't work then they shouldn't eat.
He would encourage people to give but on their own accord.
He would warn people to not to try to force others to do good but let them give according to their own heart, not grudgingly, or of coercion.
If Jesus Christ was a President this is gonna be his words "Don't Steal and Don't lie" So if he was a president..He would send illegal immigrants back to their country. They didn't asked permission to come in America. lol
This was posted earlier and I think it answers your question better than I can with my own words:
Heavenly Father,We come before you today To ask your forgiveness and To seek your direction and guidance..
Your Word says;
"Woe to those who call evil good"
But that is exactly what we have done.
We have lost our spiritual equilibrium
And reversed our values.
We have exploited the poor and Called it the lottery.
We have rewarded laziness And called it welfare.
We have killed our unborn and called it choice.
We have shot abortionists And called it justifiable.
We have neglected to discipline Our children and called it Building self esteem.
We have abused power And called it politics.
We have coveted our neighbor's Possessions and called it ambition.
We have polluted the air With profanity and
Pornography and called it Freedom of speech and expression.
We have ridiculed the time Honored values of our
Forefathers and called it enlightenment.
Search us, Oh, God,
And know our hearts today;
Cleanse us from every sin
And set us free.
Amen!"
(This was prayed by Minister Joe Wright when asked to open a session of the Kansas Senate.)
The U.S. treats illegal aliens better than Mexico does.
He would wash the feet of prostitutes, cause the mexicans to miraculously learn instant English, and have dinner with Ted Haggard. After that he would have some wine and go for a walk where he would be arrested for public drunkenness, for being homeless and for looking like a hippie. He would then be put to death for treason because he loves Iraqi's too.
Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Now I will get best answer right? Ha Ha Ha
Yes we are Christians. All things are possible with Him. We are to love one another - this does not mean we agree with each other and etc. re: immigration bill
He might. I know you would like to use His authority for your views. I would rather not put words in His mouth.
He didn't encourage people to not work, nor did he encourage invasion. Even in the Bible God directed man to work. God also required man at most to donate 10% of his wealth. You are attempting to us religion to manipulate others. You are being very self serving. Is that what your religion taught you to be - self serving?
depends...if he was republican or democrat! lol
No, I am not Christian.
Even Jesus obeyed the Romans.
Anyone as honest as J.C. would be run out of town, if not shot. I mean, we can't have that kind of behavior now can we?
No he wouldn't. All presidents have to go through the proper chain to do things and if he were president he's be held to the laws.
If Jesus Christ wanted to get into politics, he wouldn't start with this country
Yeah, he would. And since he can multiply a few fishes and loaves of bread to feed the multitudes, he'd probably multiply the schools and hospitals so there were enough to go around.
Unfortunately, he is NOT president.
When Jesus rules it will be game point, set, match.Wont need presidents or nothing else.
Yes.
