Pageants annoy me so i couldn't care less. However, as a political student who minors in economics I have come to recognize history and past actions will not be ignored, in other words, I wasn't surprised.
Also the people booing are not the same people over here. Would you like to be judged on the actions of other Americans
Of course not, it is extremely rude, it is a mark of low class and bad character. If it's any consolation, only a small part of the audience was booing her, these are the people that would be better off on Jerry Springer than an international pageant.
Even if these ppl didn't agree w/ the judges' decision, that's no justification to boo this innocent young woman. So she fell, big deal. I'd like to see them walk in a heavy gown and 3 inch heels, with a million ppl watching. I was just proud that she had the grace and fortitude to hold her head up high, keep sashaying around like nothing had happened, and even THANKED the audience IN SPANISH after they boo'd her. That says a lot about HER character.

What they did, showed their true colors. It show them, for what they really are. Think about this, what if the tables were turned, what if it would have been here, in the U. S. A., and the women booed was from Mexico, yes the Hispanics would have been fighting mad.

Mexico has a history of crude displays of actions. During the 2004 soccer torunament with Mexico, American soccer players had bags of urine hurled at them by Mexican spectators while shouting "Osama." Now our big bad neighbors are shouting down a young, nieve pegeant contestant, wow, what class.
They are still bitter about losing 1/3 of their country to us back in 1836, when Santa Anna's army was ***** slapped at the battle of San Jacinto in under 15mins. This was in response to the Alamo fiasco months earlier. They are lucky, we could have taken all of Mexico!
We subsidize their economy, forgived debts, allow their most unskilled workforce to live among us. Educate their offspring (even if here illegally) and provide health care for the sick. Many come over with diseases (small pox, measels) that America has erradicated or prevented outbreaks of for decades, which now put many Americans at risk. They pay no taxes, and aid in the draining federaly subsidized welfare programs designed for Americans, which means higher taxes for the rest of us. We allow illegals to subsudize about half their economy by sending money over the border without taxing it.
They benefit from the technology the U.S. has invented and the cars (approxamately 250,000 cars are stolen here and taken over the border) we provide on a regular basis. Their standard of living has increased just by being our neighbor.
Instead of booing us, they should thank us daily for the oil technology and experience we provided for Pemex /Petrol (governmentally owned oil producer/ manufactor) which is the other half of their whole economy. Oh, I almost forgot American tourism which is a huge portion their economy too.
They owe us an appology, I wonder if the local Mexican consulant would give us an official appology for their fellow citizens disgusting behavior and years of leaching off the U.S..
They booed Miss USA because they dislike the United States, yet I see thousands coming here illegally and MILLIONS who demand amnesty.
The Booing of Ms USA was typical of ignorant, racist, illegal loving Mexicans! And this time, the news said it was the Mexicans who were doing the booing so let's put the blame where it belongs. Illegal, corrupt, lack of morals, lack of ethics, lawbreakers, and they think they have the right to boo Ms USA? They are just proving what law-abiding citizens think of them and they are disgracing themselves to the whole world. Ignorant people will eventually self-destruct. The people BOO-ing Miss USA were neither ILLEGAL nor IMMIGRANTS. They were Mexican citizens.in Mexico City.where I would assume you'd wish them to be. They were not breaching our borders or even attempting such. They weren't abusing your tax dollars. They weren't parking "on your lawns." They weren't driving up insurance costs. They weren't overcrowding our schools. They weren't picking the lettuce that you'd rather be picking. And no one was OFFENDED because they weren't speaking ENGLISH.
So what is the problem? Should the NEW message to the people of Mexico be...Don't come here illegally...AND don't BOO even if you DON'T WANT TO COME here?!?
