This same question has been asked countles times...yes, we get it, they're just good, sweet, hard working, tax paying, loving people...we want these kind of people to come to the US legally. If not here legally, then GET OUT. Maybe you should visit East LA and get a reality check if you think most illegal immigrants are like this.

I wouldn't want either of them.
If the illegal, Mexican or not, was a hard worker, he would have worked for his citizenship. If he wanted a better life, he would have taken the precautions before coming here so he could live peacefully instead of in fear of being deported.
Get legal or face the consequences.
There is absolutely no excuse.
And just so you're aware, most of the fruits and vegetables we eat are imported.. I grew up on a farm, don't tell me that the illegal Mexican is the only worker capable of harvesting food.
A job that nobody wants? Excuse me, the American citizen is entitled to that job.. WE have done those jobs before - I know because I've done them.. Stop saying that illegals do jobs Americans don't want because THAT is a myth.
What about the hard-working American who is breaking their back, staying up late at night, working their tail end off - or do you not care about your fellow American as much as your illegals?

I don't care how hard working he/she is... Especially when they are taking more from American tax payers than giving back to us. I don't want to hear what "little" taxes they pay. Especially when they drop 5 to 8 kids a piece & invade our schools & welfare & medical benefits. When they finish sucking up 2+ trillion dollars per year to help support them... to answer your foolish question... No! Too many people think they own the rights to this country. I am very conservative, but I disagree with the hatred I have heard on this subject. Yes, the process as it is today is broken, and there needs to be a better process developed, but people have turned it into a slam on other cultures, which is pretty silly, considering that most of these people were allowed to "come" to America at some point.
i would have neither .. what kind of a question is this? while i appreciate your obvious sympathies for the illegal immigrants, the ramifications of the burdens placed on the economy far outweigh your argument. this country has enough problems without supporting these people anymore. sympathizers not helpful imo.

Nice story, but choosing one law breaker for another is not my idea of free choice. So I choose to keep both out of the country.
The first one goes to the doctor for free (to him) gets food stamps (paid for by me) gets government assistance (via my tax dollars) and ruins the house across the street from me making my house less desirable (personal experience)
The second guy (if he is indeed a terrorist) needs a bullet through the head.

Those first characteristics you named are that of a brown noser who when he goes home at night, talks sht about you and calls you a lazy American. All these things he does to butter you up just so you can remain oblivious to the fact that he came to this country illegally and his wife Marta is collecting welfare and other services illegally as well.
No mystery in him? these people move in a neighborhood and somehow the whole neighborhood turns into little tijuana. Dont worry, it will happen to yours gradually, then rapidly.

Probably they are a criminal in their own country and have something to hide, which is why they don't get documentation and background checked. Making them illegal. Maybe they have robbed several neighbors they had in their country and can't risk getting their background checked or else they would be shipped back there so fast your head will spin.
OR the person actually HAD a work visa and was supposed to renew it last month. Oh no, they just could not make the appointment or they did not have what is required, so they just let it go.
If an illegal is willing to break his back for a job, but not willing to fill out a simple form to renew their visa and provide documentation on what they are doing. (legit jobs, residential info), then they are putting up a front on being a hard worker. It is not so hard to keep up with your stuff and renew the visa or apply for a green card.
