I'm really not sure what to make of this whole thing. The Republicans are split; the Democrats are split; several amendments to the bill have been proposed; I almost drew out a chart while reading the Yahoo! Story on it earlier.
I don't think it's going to pass. If these small groups of Senators working on it can't agree, there's no way the legislative body as a whole will send it through.
I feel the same way and I hope amg503 is right that it won't get sent through. It sickens me that our elected leaders would go behind our backs, in secret and come up with such a resolution.
Well the article I read said that ammendment got shot down.So you either read an old one or are just stirring up things.Which is it?
