Does this piss anyone else off? You want to come to my country legally, and work, fine. You want to sneak over here and be a leech and a criminal, then we don't need you.
And learn the damn language... would I travel to France without knowing most of the language? No.

Just the consequence of living in the only country on Earth that is being told they aren't allowed to enforce their immigration laws. Currently much of Europe and Australia are also cracking down on illegal immigration,but we do the same thing and we are vilified. And people in the US are so lost in their little politically correct idiocy that many of them think the US has a duty to take in anyone that wants in,even if they plan to walk in the border and sign up for welfare the next day.

hi there well it does kind of annoy me ,esp when these people come over here and they get everything handed to them on a plate ,you come here and you wont have to pay youre full tax bill as you need to set up in this country ...and while we are handing out left right and center,we have a nhs that is stuggling to deal with all the patients that need operations ...so we give and then we cant fix the peopl who really need beds and medicine ...that is where it really annoys me ,yes ok these people that are coming into the uk need help im not arguing that bit but no other country is giving as much as this country ,and then at the end of the tax year we hear on the tv that we have a defisite bill of X amount of billions that has to be paid back and guess who has to pay it .you got it the common tax payer ..now that gets on my nerves ...how was that as an answer ....sorry if i went on a bit ...but it had to be said ..have a good day take care xx
You can thank the "policically correct", "progressive thinking" people in power for all these nice changes in our country. It's partly our fault because we keep electing and re-electing these jokes into office. But most of us don't even bother to vote anyway. And yes it bothers the hell out of me.
They have no incentive to learn English. When the European immigrants came here they HAD to learn English ( they had a desire to also). Today, everything is printed on products for them,companies have separate phone services that are catering to them,they even have TV channels that speak spainish.so why should they learn, nobody makes them.

i use to live in homestead Fla. back in 1989 - 1991, the first night there i stopped at a gas station to ask for directions. The answer i got was " no english". Then when i got married my wife was told she could not find a job due to not knowing how to speak spanish, now in TN its seems it is going to be like that all over the U.S. pretty soon if they allow all these illegals amnesty. I wonder if they get amnesty can we get out of paying our taxes for a little while to be like they have been since they got here, NO, why is it that Mexico is cracking down on people moving into their country but they want to take theirs all at once.
Yet they don't put another Canadian flag with french under it!
This just proves how pro-illegal MyTend.com really is.
I wish all of the people who are also up-set by this could do something much much more useful than just bitching about it on YA.

If you spemnd any time on Y!A, you will notice that very few young, native-born Americans can speak the language very well, either.
It does bother me. Like you said, I wouldn't go to another country without knowing the language, and I wouldn't expect the people of that country to put everything into english either.
