Most of you would not do a lot of the work they do...so why don't you go do some of their field work...I don't think you would last a half day harvesting onions or cabbage! I know not all do field work but the majority do.
I am so sick and tired of everyone complaining.but I guarantee you that you would not do their work.

No. That is an aweful solution. The incentive for Mexicans to come here is from the HUGE difference between our minumum wage and Mexico's average wage.
So if you don't want to build a fense, I guess one solution is to drop the minimum wage to about $1.25 per hour.

Because of the governments lack of control they have the upper hand on getting our jobs. They are taking over our construction jobs and any other when they undercut our pay. If we let this go on we will all be working for less than we make now. We cannot help all the poor in the world by becoming poor ourselves. The only ones benefiting from illegal workers are the rich and the illegals. Don't be blind to where we are heading.
One problem with your proposal, we can not compete with the illegals since we, as Americans, pay for medical, dental, registration, auto insurance and taxes. If you limit your overhead by not participating in a countries infrastructure you can afford to work for a lower income.
Best way to get rid of it is to enforce the law. Unfortunately, politicians are too concerned about potential votes to do that.
Right sort of? We need to shut down any employer that willing and knowingly employs illegals. Fine those who hire off the street and enforce jail sentences for those who continue to do so. That with the combination of tuff border security will bring illegals out of the woodwork, In many cases many will want to go home when they have no work.
Give them NO welfare benefits! Or free health care. Then they have no reason to come or stay. They will deport themselves.

You are right on target. The illegals come here for the money, some of which they send home. The Mexican government loves this. They see a annual flow of more than $40 billion a year. Follow the money, cut it off and you have solved the problem of illegal immigration.
Now, how the hell do we get our self-righteous politicians to pass a serious immigration reform bill without screwing those immigrants who are waiting in line and the American tax payer who is footing the bill for all of the services the illegals are using for free.

How about a "Marshal Plan"
for Mexico It worked in Europe, It could make Mexico,s jobs and wages more attractive and an incentive for staying in Mexico. I hear about the Billions/Trillions of dollar spent, why not put that money to good use. The US census predicts by 2050, America will be a Minority Majority nation, as we speak 4 states California, Hawaii, Texas and New Mexico Are already Minority /Majority states.
That's why the government should concentrate on penalizing the businesses that hire illegals.
Actually, returning them to Mexico in a manner that would get their attention should do the trick. I was thinking along the lines of erecting a series of catapults or trebuchets in border towns and, once caught, launching them back to Mexico.
