for the experience itself, if you aren't from japan. being abroad, living in another culture, another country ,i think we could all benefit from 'walking in someone else's shoes'. make a list of the pros and cons and before you approach your parents with your strategy, make sure you give it some serious thought. good luck to you.
Stay in America.
you need to find a way to do it really cheap. Then say how it will look so good on college applications and help you get scholarships. That will make them see they will save money in the long run.
Not much money but living in Japan. You poor kids have it really rough.
You have to remember that school costs wouldn't be the only expense of your going to school in Japan. Housing and cost of living is also a matter for consideration. If I were your parents, no matter what you tried to pull, I would tell you to finish school in America and go to Japan when you were on your own and can foot the bills for yourself. Is there any good reason that you feel you should finish school in Japan? If not, if I were your parents, I would remain unconvinced.
