WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Leading U.S. senators reached an agreement on Thursday on an immigration overhaul that would fortify U.S. borders and grant lawful status to millions of illegal immigrants, a move that could lead to a major legislative victory for President George W. Bush.
The agreement sets the stage for what is expected to be a passionate Senate debate over the proposal, which would give an estimated 12 million illegal immigrants legal status, create a temporary worker program and establish a new merit-based system for future immigrants.
"The agreement we've just reached is the best possible chance we will have in years to secure our borders, bring millions of people out of the shadows and into the sunshine of America," said Sen. Edward Kennedy, a Massachusetts Democrat who helped lead the bipartisan talks that included Sen. Jon Kyl and administration officials.

This bill is dead. Any bill that gives amnesty to illegal criminals will not pass. U.S. citizens don't want illegal alien criminals getting amnesty. It's not right and it's an easy cop out for the lazy politicians that just want to get it over with.

The U.S. prostituted it's self out to become the leader of the "New World Order" - by sending jobs overseas and strengthening the countries that always end up turning on us (like the new British government) - So, in order to compete with India, Taiwan, China, and all the others - we have to accept slave wages that only the illegal immigrants are willing to take - in order to compete with this "new world economy" that we manufactured. What you said is only a small part of this attempt to sell our country down the river, by the president and all those other scalawags. The illegals that are here become eligible for social security in just 6 quarters. We, American citizens had to have 40 quarters. Imagine how that will totally drain the social security. They will all become eligible for welfare AND they will all belong to unions which will certainly cause the labor costs to soar. Think of the health care costs. The rest of Mexico are probably packing their bags now so they can get here in time to take advantage of these hand outs that will DOOM our country. I sometimes think that them bastards in Washington are TRYING to destroy our country. Surely they are not that STUPID.

Its time that we Americans began to organize, we need a movement, we must stand together against the flood of barbarians invading from the south, Americans, whether you are black, white, brown, purple or green, if you are an American you must stand with us, fight the invasion, we are a proud people, we have enough problems without importing the worlds poor, we already have our own. For Each illegal alien, one more African American is left in the cold, one more American suffers, more Americans are killed by illegal aliens per year then the total number of soldiers killed in Iraq and Afghanistan combined. Gangs are over running our prisons, 1 out of 3 inmates is an illegal alien, they are coming to work but so many more are criminals, or the children of illegal aliens citizens by birth alone, not true citizens, we need a revolution we must take up arms and repel the invaders. We must stand and fight from the deserts of Arizona to the streets of L.A. to the Sera Nevadan Mountains, we will never given in, generations from now our children will look back and see that it was the Americans of today that stood their ground against the ACLU, the brown berets, the Aztlan racists, the Mecha conquers, MS-13 drug gangs, we must fight, express your right to bear arms, by as many weapons as you can and enough ammo for the fight ahead. Don’t tread on me, I call all Americans no matter the race, ethnicity, or the color of your skin, stand together and fight, if not for yourselves then for your children’s lives and their children’s lives, stand and fight damn you, fight!
My fellow Americans, We are in the fight for the very existence of a great people, the American people. Americans are of many colors and ethnicity but we all call ourselves Americans, not Mexicans, not Koreans, not Germans, we are Americans nothing else. We have liberal Americans, Conservative Americans, libertarian Americans, Socialists Americans, many beliefs and ideologies but we are Americans all the same. We believe in Freedom, we cherish our right to bear arms, we express the right to vote if we so choose to do so, but a great people has been called to account. We have grown weak, our enemies have surrounded that city upon a hill, and have laid siege to our nations cities. One by one cities have declared their loyalty to the Nation of Mexico, one by one sanctuary cities are born from the ruins of once great cities, cities built by Americans for Americans. Our borders have been overrun we stand now on the brink of a great revolution, we must now more then ever send a message to the Politicians of Washington, we are fed up and we are not going to take it anymore! We will not stand by as our nations cities infrastructure is collapsed under the weight of the illegal alien scourge, hospitals are overwhelmed, schools are bursting at the brim, the cost of living is at an all time high, crime is up, are prisons are rioting, killer gangs, drugs, aliens, and disease spread unchecked across our Nation!
