Yes, "illegal" is the key word in that question. It's definetely a problem if I do something illegal in America. I am not only going to jail but I will be tarnished for the rest of my natural, black life! I am an American citizen! Not only am I an American, I'm an African-American citizen! Born and raised here, and me and mine are still waiting for our restitution! I am concerned that it will be drained from allowing hordes of illegal immigrants to soak up what's rightfully ours.Can some one please explain to me why illegal immigrants get away with so much? Where are they getting so much money from and so many of them aren't even legal? Why do we accomodate them so much by trying to learn their language and not daring to suggest that they learn ours? Most people from other countries that immigrate here make it a point to learn to speak the English language. I have never met anyone that comes from Africa that cannot speak English. My people were forced to speak the English language! And the ones that don't speak the language properly are called "ghetto" and ignorant. I don't understand this. I need answers.
I never had any prejudiced feelings in my heart but witnessing how this group of people are given so many unearned priviliges sickens me because it was my people who helped build this country and we were never given anything for it! Mexicans here illegally say they belong here, that they are American. The goverment must have sort of deal with Mexico because illegal immigrants from that country are living much more heartily than many of my people, and we've been here all of our lives.
I saw footage of a Mexican protest about the immigration bill. The guy that was leading the protest was telling these people, "We are strong in numbers! They don't even breed like we do! We belong here! We're not going anywhere!"
"Wow!" That was all I could say. It was like witnessing a bunch of thieves marching down the street chanting, "We have a right to be thieves! We have a right to be thieves!"
Something is behind this bullshit. It wasn't always like this, with swarms of people coming in illegally, with impunity. There must be a reason, and I want to know what it is! There's a reason that people here illegally often get more assistance from the government than those that are here legally. There's a reason that they can go to any public school and pass to the next grade because they are considered handicapped because they don't speak the language well. There's a reason that the system is allowing them to speak their language and only their language. What's really going on?
There wouldn't be a problem if we would just lower the minimum wage and double the immigration quotas.
I don´t think the border guards of whom your reffering should be in prison. I think there was a terrible miscarriage of justice there.
That said: The problem with the illegal immigrants lies in the US and not in Mexico or with the Mexicans trying to improve their lives.
The problem and the culprit is US industry, Wal-Mart, US farms and almost assuredly someone in your family or living on your block.
The same problem exists in the so called drug war. That problem is called DEMAND.
If you want the drugs and the illegal aliens to stop flooding across the borders...stop employing illegal’s and consuming drugs.

I think your question can go either way, yes I agree with what you say AND ITS NOT RIGHT AND ITS NOT FAIR, BUT (and thats a big BUT) the USA has made a lot wrong things also and a lot of things that are not fair, and many people have died because of that... Soo lets stop pointing fingers and fix the damn problem, your suposed to be the superpower, well act like it you say you are *the leaders of the free world¨* well then? make the right choices and lead! This is a big problem, I agree with Javakia somewhat. But we need need to be able to do more without trouble. A rancher in New Mexico may shoot them many probably do, but no one hears about it, or even knows.
Now try to cross the Great wall of China or the 38th parallel line in Korea, I'll bet you wouldn't get far, and probably be lying in your own pool of blood.
It is a big problem--I think our border patrol should be given full authority to assess and react to any situation that may arise along the border--they cannot properly be effective with their hands tied behind their backs. If we really want to stop the illegals, I see no other way. I find it ironic that a patrol guard would spend one day in jail for doing his job. I have no problem with immigrants who enter legally, we have laws in America--they are not meant to be broken by no one.
It is a crime for them to cross the borders without proper authorization. Period.
If they should them break another law by harming or attempting to harm our border patrol, they should be caught, processed and incarcerated until such time as they can be deported.
The border patrol should be allowed to shoot to protect themselves if they are fired upon. The government needs to know what OUR priorites are and let the border patrol do their jobs, without hindering them.
1. The US government NEEDS to protect the current borders

The US gov't NEEDS to let the Mexican gov't know that ANY weapons fire from inside their land acros the border is an open act of war, unless the Mexican Gov't proves that they are continuously taking action against those that do this. (the ONLY acceptable proof would be openly published arrests, trial and convictions)
3. The American people NEED to vote out the traitors in Washington (no one should vote for an incumbant that is not an independant) and replace them with people, experienced or not, who will uphold the constitution, at all costs
4. The American forces (military or local law enforcement of any type, citizens even) should never be prosecuted for protecting our country, no matter what!
I think if they want to come to the usa they have to serve in the military and fight for our country to be able to stay Instead of being here and taking up space
