Do you trust the government to fix illegal immigration when legal immigration programs are rife with fraud?

The government set up the H1B and L1 visa programs. As a result, 9 Indian companies have set up shop in the US and hire nothing but H1B visa holders. The 9 companies account for 20,000 of the 65,000 annual H1B visas granted. US law requires they document why they can't find and hire American workers if the percentage of H1B visa workers employed is greater than 15%. They simply ignore the requirement. The L1 visa program was designed to allow international companies to transfer employees from foreign offices to the US to work. It was intended to allow the transfer of executives and such to assist in US operations. Now, the Indian companies (and a lot of American companies) use the loophole to transfer consultants to the US and hire them out to the IT departments of their clients. Abuse of this program is rampant. Congress wants to increase the H1B visa quota, even though they're aware of the fraud. How can we trust them on the issue of illegal immigration? I certainly can't.

Answer:
I think a more important question to ask would be do we trust the government to truly "fix" the immigration laws if the bill is passed, after the amnesty bill that was passed during the Reagan administration; which obviously didn't fix immigration.

I do not think people who came into this country ILLEGALLY should be rewarded by being granted citizenship. I also cannot trust them on the issue of immigration.
kinda makes you wonder what their pockets will be filled with when all this junk happens to us real Americans not the illegals.
I do not trust this government to fix anything. It is our corrupt and misguided government officials who have ruined all that is good about America. They have sent our jobs overseas, given our hard earned surplus away and let illegals swarm across our borders. They are sick with fraud and need to be purged.
do i trust the government HAHAHHAHAHHAHA
look into sugar cane harvesting the government financial inslaves islanders into doing the most underpaid dangerous work out there but no one ever wonders why sugar is so cheap its called work visa here boy come to america work then i pay you little then you go home complain about the job go home early this countrys future was sold long ago for far to little
No, I don't think the government will fix or can fix the illegal problem, it is too big & they let it go on too long. They want an easy fix; give them amnesty! The more you let stay the more will come! Thats what has happened since we gave them amnesty during the Regan years. The American people had better speak up loud & clear on this issue or they will foist this nutty idea on us again!
