Are Senators who support the immigration bill losing support?

Answer:
I understand that Kyle just got reelected, and he has let be known that this is his last term in office. I can only guess that he has been offered a job at the end of his term, in exchange for his sellout. We will have to keep tabs on him and see what he does at the end of his term. De mint was going to stage a filibuster next week in the Senate, but I read that he called it off. I wonder what his payoff was. Lindsy Graham has for a long time wanted to be a vice-president so I figure that might explain his die hard effort for this bill. I am getting the feeling that this bill is a run away train, and it can not be stopped and the results is a train wreck and the American people will pay dearly for this ride
I say let the Know Nothings leave the party.
I do know on this last break, they sure got an ear full from mad voters.
What they lose from certain voters, they will make up from other certain voters...
Yes they should lose all support from their constituents and so should any Democrats that support that bill. It does nothing to help the greater majority of American citizens. If the bill passes Senator Kennedy will probably be canonized by the Catholic Church because of his support for the bill. I don't know about you, but I believe that the Catholic Church should lose their tax exempt status for their political actions surrounding this situation.
I think the politicians should realize if they are opting to support new voters (immigrants) instead of established voters (natural citizens), the incumbents likely will be replaced. The gamble is whether or not the new voters can comprehend honest concern from an elected official versus manipulation.
a couple of comments here:

1. a new bill to make our legislators READ the bills they vote on should be passed soon. what do they do with their time? i never heard something as ridiculous as this in my entire life! they should have laws to make them read bills?

therefore, the reps that did not read the entire 1,000 pages of ted kennedy's new Strive Act may have no opinion at all, so why would they support it or not support it?

maybe it depends on who tells them to support it and how much money he will put into their campaign coffers.

2. i no longer see why this bill should be passed. i never did anyhow, especially since so much of it is secret, but consider this move: president GWB removed the part of it that would require these 12,000,000 illegal aliens who came here any time prior to 1.1.2007 to pay taxes on the wages they earned. why would president bush take that language out? i read in the press that the person that worked together with the president to remove it was our secretary of homeland security, which is yet another oddity.

has my president started to lose his marbles? the press stated that the reasoning behind allowing the illegals not to pay taxes is because it would be too "difficult" and "confusing" for the taxes to be figured out and assessed.

well it sure is interesting that if you or i defraud uncle sam by not reporting some of our income, there are very easy ways to learn about how much that income was: it is proven by your spending habits. will all landlords lie about rent paid by the illegal alien and for how long? will all employers lie to the irs about what wage they paid to their employees?

and what is this darned fine all about, "up to" $5,000? what is five grand these days anyhow? is the fine to establish yet another bureaucracy that spends more of our money so that our own taxes go up, but the illegal aliens that made money here for who knows how long are not paying any taxes to support the bureaucracy that has to control their comings and goings?

nobody likes this bill anymore. everyone is mystified by it. even la raza hates it, saying it is discriminatory. (la raza is fighting to take the land of new mexico, arizona and california back as land of mexico, btw).

i hope that senators do not support a bill that they are unable to make time to read and analyze!
Mine are not, they are getting more support from me.
