Yes, I'm sick of it! I'm sick of all of the illegals in our country. They all hate us but we're supposed to take them in and support them as if they were our own! I don't think so. I wouldn't support my own son in an illegal situation. I know he knows the law as he was reared better than that. I'm definitely not going to pay to keep the illegal terrorists here. I have nothing against the Mexican flag or the Spanish language. The ability to display a honor in your home country speaks volumes of the Freedom in which this country was founded.
I do notice some that have a tendency to go a little overboard in their displays. Again it shows the ability of what makes this country a truley unique place.
I could care less how much love someone shows of their heritage. However that does not present a right to demand a country bow to your will.

I don't understand why it's an issue for people to be proud of where they came from. There are many LEGAL immigrants such as myself whom are very proud of their culture. You see people with Irish ancestry putting up flags in their homes, tattooing them all over their bodies and wearing them on t-shirts but THAT doesn't seem to bother you does it. I'm just as proud of being Mexican as I'm proud of being a US Citizen. Just because I'm in the US doesn't mean I have to deny my heritage. People have the right to be proud of their own heritage. Why are you only pointing out the mexican flags? I see people displaying Italian , Irish , British , and French flags everyday. My own grandmother displays an Irish flag along with her American one. Is that disrespecting America? Everyone has the right to to proud of their heritage. America is made of hundreds of different nations , and they all deserve to be proud of where they came from. While I'm not encouraging or condoning illegal immigrants , I believe you can display the flag of your ancestors ,without disrespecting your home country.
I enjoy diversity. Most people don't have a problem with the Polish festivals around here and the Polish flag. We have plenty of other cultural festivals that demonstrate pride in one's heritage. The place of business I work at has an Italian flag out front because the owner is Italian.
If people looked around, they would see that pride in heritage is everywhere. It's just that "mexican" is the new "black:."

I completly agree with you. If Mexico is so great and people are so proud of it, then why do they leave? Mexican government treats their people so horribly I cant understand why they would fight to get out of Mexico and then promote it like its Disneyland.

you are right it is degrading to America but this is a free country and this country was founded by immigrants, but that should not defend them and we have come a long way since then. illegal is illegal no matter how you put it and we have laws that are being ignored and it is time that we enforce theses laws and the right thing for them to do is go through the process to become Americans and stop crossing our boarders because that is an example of how easy it is to cross into America whats next soon they will be training terrorist how to cross and not be seen.

I am an American Citizen born here raced in Mexico and in the United States of America...I feel what you write is VERY RACIST you are of Spanish blood because they were all over the place but Mexicans kicked them back to where they came from... Mexico has alot of Spanish and french blood as well and trust me if there were jobs in Mexico they would stay there, its a beautiful place its relaxing the no jobs issue is a shame. However if you are a true American you know that this is the land of freedom to do whatever so if they want to wave a flag they can wave a flag and if you didn't know when they rally they also include the American flag because they love this country they don't want to show disrespect they want the opportunity to be a part of this country legally and be at ease with the system because whether you like it or not they are not going any were so it is best to be legal for many reasons and I am not going to discuss cause I would have to go on and on and I don't have that kind of time I have work to do .
Actually the word Hispanic means coming from a Spanish speaking country or culture so Mexicans can identify being Hispanic if they so choose.
I know New Mexico like the back of my hand. I was in the University there in their Spanish/Linguistics program the Spanish that is spoken in New Mexico is not Spanish from Spain. The Spanish spoken in Spain is very different.
My parents were born in Spain and I grew up in Europe until my family moved to Mexico when I was 12. I do not speak like a person from Mexico or from the US Southwest.
Sorry dear but if your in New Mexico you do not speak like you are from Spain. I know many people in Albuquerque and when I speak they automatically know my accent is from Spain because of the way I talk. Also when my family moved to Mexico my accent is very different, since it is from Spain.
The New Mexican Spanish uses words that is about 200 years old, words that are not used in Latin America or in Spain anymore. Not to mention New Mexican Spanish borrows words from the Native American populaiton. There is a significant points of contrast between Standard and New Mexican Spanish.

Real Spanish people feel bad about what their ancestors did to Mexico! They not only live in Mexico, but visit Mexico frequently.There is a huge Spanish community in Mexico, during the Spanish War, the only country accepting Spanish refugees was MEXICO!
