How many immgrants are in the U.S. on worker visas?
Answer:
too many. lowers wages. do you know 25% of construction workers are now mexicans on work visas? the employers say they can't get Americans to work these jobs. (actually, the Mexican will work for less money). and the US actually will subsidize a mexican worker pay if Americans cannot be found to work the job !!! a nursery here pays $6 a hour, all they can afford. Of course, no American will work in the field for that cash, so the US governement adding $2 an hour and actually paid to bring Mexicans up here to work at that nursery for $8 an hour. so much for our taxes working for us
