(Mexico is similar that way. However, their current immigration laws are much stricter and more consistantly enforced than ours.)
It is only illegal immigrants we don't want. They broke our law and ignored our limits and preferences to come here. Beyond that they are too many and too poor to ever pay enough in tax to cover the cost of education for their children, even if no one in their family ever takes any other tax funded service. They are ruining our schools for our own children.

Yep. A country of LEGAL immigrants who have adopted LAWS that when when broken cause us to call the law breakers CRIMINALS. So, when people enter into a land illegally and against the prevailing wish of the people who live there, they are not immigrants, they are criminals. Kind of like if you left for work one day and I moved into your house and you came home and found me there and couldn't do anything. Then I demand that you feed me, educate me and give me healthcare and when you don't, I'd call you a racist and make fun of you and insult you and evrything you stand for. I would also try and make your house look like the cardboard box I used to live in and slowly wreck evrything you and your family has worked for.
We have adopted a lot from immigrants. Those who have chosen to come here legally, follow our laws and assimilate and become one with our society, thereby enriching it as opposed to sucking it dry, like the criminals do!
