who cares.. illegal or not those ppl WORKED for that money.. sure they send a large portion of it to Mexico to help their families.. but they also don't get a tax return every April, they will not get social security (which they are paying in to), or any other benefit that comes from income taxes!

are you a racist? i'm not. its not just mexico, all immigrant groups remitt money. my wifes from the philippeans, she used to send money to her sister until her sis started expecting it. the international t.v. channels are full of commercials about money remittance. billions of dollars leave this country every year. there are some people who come here just for the purpose of sending money home. its time to stop it if you ask me.

Not as much as they spend here in City, State, and Federal taxes that they unlike you - will never recoup. They pay the money that goes for your welfare, disability (even those you fake) & Social security checks.
Its Mexico's second largest income apart from oil exports which is number one in its earnings.
