"We built this country"?
Last time I checked I didn't build anything, it was our ancestors and the ancestors of the legal and illegal immigrants who built this country. Shouldn't we learn from this and try to be a bit more accepting towards others?
Answer:
Absolutely. People here think they have PRIOR OWNERSHIP to this nation. The only true natives are Native Americans, everyone else that claims to be the 'flower that sprouted from U.S. Soil" can shove a big stick up their booty. People have been moving along out present political borders for hundreds of years.
more like we stole this country
i agree. there's no need for all this hostility.
Los Angeles, San Jose or San Francisco were little towns and Mexicans built Big Cosmopolitan wealthy Cities.
We live in the country that was built by people who lived before us.
as long as there is a law against coming here illegally the law needs to be obeyed..everyone else gets in trouble when they break the law
Legally, yes. The key to it is enforcement, if we enforced all our laws, and control our borders and ports, that would go a long way to ending this problem. No amnesty, No reform.
Don't you build for your children? I know my family did for its family, and they built farms and schools and churches and towns. And they didn't do it for their progeny to be forced into overcrowded conditions by those coming here illegally. And the illegals largely CAN'T pay their way in taxes, so WE (not our ancestors) would be paying for them.
No it wasn't illegal immigrants that built anything. We have laws and proper channels to go through to become a citizen of the United States. If people can't respect the laws and our process then we don't want them here. What part of ILLEGAL do you people not understand?
No offense but speak for yourself. I've helped build plenty.
